Awesome Software, I paid for the upgrade. I am giving only 4 stars because, I think the software should have in and out functions. Right now if you are outside of an area and you go into it, the task is prompted. I would like to see the function of setting it so that if you leave an area it will prompt you. Like if you go outside of the set range it prompts you to not forget your coat, keys or some other item. You can make this work by setting a way point just outside of where you are but that is cumbersome. I frequently forget to take things home from work and it would be great that if I got outside the door it could alert me so that I would at least not get all the way home. Add that feature and I will up it to 5 stars!

This is a very good app, does what it says, and I absolutely recommend it. A feature that I really miss is a possibility to delay (snooze) a reminder for a custom selected period. For instance if I am reminded that I am near that shop where I have to buy something, but I don't have time at the moment, I'd like to have possibility to say "remind me again when I'm near this location, but from tomorrow on".

The Google Play field for this type of app is weak at best. The fact that this developer responds (and quickly) is enough to put GeoTasks at the head of the class. However; the app is also a winner with these pluses: (1) a modern, neat, well organized, simple UI. (2) Features that actually work! Competing products offer functions not available here, but they don't perform consistently. I've now used 3 locations as test cases that have proved troublesome for at least 5 other apps. Only GeoTasks provided notifications (at the appropriate time) for all 3. The accuracy is DEAD ON.

... is a battery drain. The option to set a active time period for each task is good, but it seems GeoTask is still triggering a lot of wakelocks even when no tasks was active. There should be an option to reduce the frequency for polling our location, or even a general setting to turn GeoTask off altogether during nighttime. On the other hand, if we're within the larger radius of a task and GPS is not enabled, prompting us to turn it on or even do it for us automatically would be helpful!

I have alarms when I'm at the office for logins, breaks, and logouts. Now when I'm on leave and out of town, I don't get them anymore. I'm pretty impressed! Money well-spent. Kudos, dev!
