L’app sviluppata per l’associazione culturale Pasubio100anni è l’ausilio ideale per scoprire in libertà, sicurezza, conoscenza, le montagne di Vallarsa, montagne che furono teatro di numerosi e cruenti episodi nel corso della Grande Guerra.
P. come Percorsi
L’associazione, conscia di quanto un territorio, come la sua valle, ricco di testimonianze storico-ambientali, si prestasse ad essere riscoperto secondo l’assunto che “il vero viaggio di scoperta non consiste nel cercare nuove terre ma nel vederle con occhi nuovi”, e nella certezza che solo ripercorrendolo sulle tracce di un passato di battaglie, di eserciti, di dolorosi esodi, di sanguinose conquiste se ne potessero valutare appieno il carico storico, ha messo in programma lavori di manutenzione e pulizia di trincee, camminamenti, mulattiere, che dalle strade che la percorrono (S.S. 46 e S.P. 89) portano in quota, denominandoli “ Percorsi della Grande Guerra” semplificati in “ G.G. ” seguiti da un numero identificativo da 1 a 12. Dodici percorsi che illustrano in tutta la loro interezza le varie condizioni di una guerra: dalle prime linee ai forti e campi trincerati, dalle retrovie alle aree di supporto logistico, dalle postazioni in caverna alle tormentate trincee contrapposte, dai siti destinati agli ospedali agli innumerevoli cimiteri militari.
A. come Audioguidati
I Percorsi resi così percorribili, transitano su luoghi che hanno fatto la storia, utilizzati ora dall’uno ora dall’altro degli eserciti contrapposti, austro-ungarici ed italiani, al seguito delle avanzate prima dal passo Pian delle Fugazze verso Rovereto per gli italiani, e poi dagli austro-ungarici, nel corso della ben nota Strafexpedition del maggio-giugno 1916 nella risalita al contrario verso il Regno d’Italia. Il sistema di Audioguida progettato consente la percorrenza di tali tracciati in assoluto rispetto per l’ambiente (assenza di tabellonistica illustrativa), ricchezza di informazioni e testimonianze preinstallate con l’app su tablet o smartphone (testimonianze di guerra dei soldati che qui hanno combattuto, o dei profughi lontani da casa), sicurezza nel percorrere sentieri nei boschi, accompagnati e supportati dal navigatore satellitare installato, documentazione fotografica a corredo (riproduzione dei siti di allora, mappe dettagliate, libri storici, tutto in forma digitale).

Cent’anni sono passati, e le generazioni dell’oggi hanno, riteniamo, l’assoluta necessità di apprendere, e sul campo, nelle trincee, quanto devastante per il fisico ed il morale la vita in prima linea, quanto una guerra possa stravolgere, morfologicamente parlando, un territorio, quanta devastazione possa portare (al termine della guerra solo 71 case erano abitabili, a fronte di un patrimonio edilizio di più di 900 case), quanto dolore e lutti lasci (più di cento combattenti vallarsesi nell’esercito dell’impero austro-ungarico deceduti o dispersi; l’intera popolazione profuga in Italia o in Austria), quanta povertà residuasse in una valle già povera di suo.

Gli anni del Centenario della Grande Guerra porteranno, ce siamo certi, ad una nuova e ragionata fruizione del bene territorio, in particolar modo di una terra profondamente selvaggia come la Vallarsa, dove anche quei segni della guerra hanno voluto conservare i caratteri d’origine, come fossero una trasformazione geologica che si stratifica nel tempo ma che custodiscono il monito, spesso dimenticato ma sempre presente, “mai più guerre”.
