Pixel - Music Player

Man I wanna like this app so much. It has tons of potential but each time I install it thinking it got better I was still left disappointed. The music player works great the look and feel are excellent. But it takes minutes to load my videos and my podcasts keep disappearing after I download them and it crashes very regularly.

I like this player so much but whenever I try to access the app the on going song will always change to the one I first played. Hope this can be fixed asap. I like the album art in square and if possible the lyrics embedded on the file can be read as well. :)

Album cover art is always square, so why make the little album art icon container a circle? It looks terrible.

Great, but maybe use the new player notification in Oreo.

Best app for music if u do not want to use ur google music n music. It is small in size

I legit the best music player ever.. thank you so much for developing the best music player.. its smooth , easy friendly.. u also receive an online radio according to your genre.. which is extremely cool.. the equaliser is great with a hi-fi resolution for you to listen your music.. So far, im enjoy it. You be disappointed with this app .. I truly promise you. TRY IT!!

love this!!! just one question: how come whenever i listen to pixel for a while, off it & turn it back on, it sends me back to the same music i listened to the first time i turned it on & not to the last music i heard before shutting it down? it's always like this. why is it?

When I used the search button to search for music in my library, it didn't play when i pressed it. Pls fix.

First off this version doesn't have ads like one of the reviews said! I was looking for a player that did the specific things I wanted as well as having a nice, updated look to it, and this one looks much better than the other options I've tried so far. It seems to have some bugs that I've emailed the developer about and I hope to hear back soon. (Update 10/15 still no reply) I like that I can update the metadata (including genre) right from the currently playing song view - other players required me to search through my music library, locate the song and update there. *Speaking of searching this function appears to be slightly broken right now -- clicking a song from search doesn't play it, adding it to the queue or telling it to play next from search also does not seem to work. I would also think it nice if instead of just a list of songs it would sort search results by artist and album as well instead of just displaying the songs of the artist/album.* I also value a good notification bar that allows you to play/pause a song, forward backward etc. This player doesn't include the like button in the notification controls but that is ok for me. It also looks nice in my opinion. There is a cool feature where when your music is playing you can hold the play button to find a radio station related to it? It hasn't worked yet for me but i listen to international music so maybe that's why? The podcasts function works nicely too, it even found the international news station I like to use for language practice! though it seems to add a podcast to my music? I wasn't able to find a feature that tells the player to only look in one folder for music, or to at least exclude other folders like externally downloaded notification/ringtones. The option that is there to filter only for music filters doesn't seem to work for me right now anyways. I like the way the playlist viewer has two buttons that automatically add your liked songs, and shows recently added songs. I've only used pixel for a couple days so i dont know how the auto rules for recently added work yet but it looks to only add the last 100 songs. You can delete a song but I dont know if that means just fro the playlist of fr your device... You can create a playlist from your queue or by searching songs / locating albums etc. But there isn't an 'add playlist' button from the playlist viewer. As long as I'm able to add an entire genre at once to a playlist this is fine by me though! For album art it would be nice if you could add your own but at least it allows you to add something, and it hasnt been wrong so far, as far as it is able to locate anything that is.

Better than I expected Could have more features in the future, but I'm contented with its current simplicity

Phone somehow got the idea that I wanted to auto update programs out of nowhere. Opened up what was previously my favorite music player, and saw all the ads. Absolutely unacceptable. Uninstalled. Wish I had a backup for a previous version.

No control over artist image downloads. You can only stop album art downloads. The app kept downloading artist pictures, wasting my data.

Its fine not better like other music player apps. I cannot understand why it needs my location ? It also using more battery than other music player.

Nice music player...but please update.. 1--- (location) 2--- (play next) option does not work 3--- (recent) option is failure

Everything is great but lyrics feature isn't working at all please improve this... And then this player could become ultimately best one of its kind
