great app for any boatie use it all the time and haven`t got a boat

Hi there i recently renewed my subscription on the 22.1.17 and my app still says that it is expired and functions remain disabled. Have uninstalled and reinstalled after turning phone off and on and still not registering as renewed. Please help.

Purchased in November 2016 and it now says my subscription has expired?? Should be for 12 months!!

Can I remove the app because my phone memory is very low and reinstall it at a later date for free because I already paid for it?

Hi, the app installed ok and ran ok for a couple of days. the app crashed when I least needed it to. I have re installed the app several times but still can't get it to run. I have logged several fault reports but have not been contacted by navionics

Same as case #246645. Purchased app for emergency navigation offshore 3 months ago. Worked until we got offshore of course. Have reinstalled since getting internet and still won't open.

Would be perfect if there was a way to view and enter gps coordinates in other formats such as degree minutes second etc or decimal degrees... is there a setting for this?

Good charts but very disappointed that I paid $43 for this app and can't import my waypoints - if I'd known that I would not have bought it. Can't even add waypoints manually by directly inputting their coordinates. Having to pin the map to enter waypoints is slow, inaccurate and cumbersome . Update needed.

Love it.

Use it frequently. I'd like to be able to create waypoints that only I can see, not a fan of my marks being saved on the community layer.

This app is frigin awesome works perfect all the contour lines match up with depth sounders on board the boat one of reasons i got this app is so when im the fly bridge i can take my tablet up where there is no gps or sounder easy to use LOVE IT

Mindblowing get it guys, take a while and play with it, not much you can't do with this gem.

great app but we need to be able to zoom in a lot more, as i cant read the contours depth. will give 5 stars when this is added.

Disappointed. If considering purchasing this app, you should refer to the "Mobile Compatibility Guide" on the Navionics web site. Navionics will not guarantee that this App will function correctly unless is installed on a Navionics "certified" device but "likely' to work on most other Androids. The list of certified AndroidTablets is limited. This is my experience using the app on a "Non Certified" new Asus Android Tablet. I have had the App operating satisfactorily on my Asus Android Tablet for 18 months. I did several things in sort succession recently i.e. update the app version, purchase the Advanced Navigation Module, purchase additional charts and updated the Android Version. With these additions, the App now to closes when I tap the Route tab. Investigation by Navionics (Case #00148538) report that the problem is known to their developers and is caused by using a tablet that they do not certify to function properly. I was advised there is no way to restore the App to way it was prior to these additions and a solution may be addressed in a future update of the App. I welcome any further suggestions by Navionics if it is possible to restore the fantastic App on my device. June

Excellent and useful app. Good value. Incredible Nav aid and route planner.

This tablet 'HD' version is no better than the phone version. The only difference I see between the two is the orientation of the opening page where you need to agree to the terms and the menu bar. These two cannot 'screen rotate' where the map does. The phone version works perfectly on my tablet except what I explained above but that is ok for me. Solution? I just sit the tablet in portrait position like an Ipad and saves me $60.

Great app. I use it on my tablet even though I have it on my plotter as well. The tablet has a bigger screen and therefore more detail. I have used this on very long coastal passages of several hundreds of miles without any problems at all.

Very help full out on the water

As a fisherman I expected to be able to mark my current location (according to the GPS) for future reference. This doesn't seem to be available. As an alternative I thought I could mark my position in OziExplorer and then import these waypoints later, but there doesn't seem to be an import function either. Otherwise, so far so good... Let's see how it performs in action...

The best & practical alternative to a store-bought (handheld) GPS for the marine environment. It runs in the background whilst using devices or in sleep mode. I use it on Galaxy S4 + Galaxy Note 10.1 without hitches (although previous Pro licence had no advertising - not happy that has changed...) & now my work uses it on iPad & iPhone. I love being able to plan ventures to new waters with confidence that the charts are accurate. Highly valued investment for me.

Excellent app for a sailboat. In fact I used it in preference to my chart plotter for a coastal trip :-D

Love it from Perth WA - in conjunction with the boats Lowrance, we've got all bases covered, just gotta learn a few more steps on syncing data

I have used this several time on the water and I find it invaluable for areas I have not visited before. Mainly to ensure I remain in the main channel and to avoid shallow areas. Could do with a few extra options, like; Add user overlay, so that we can prepare a plan and then overlay it as required, or have suggested fishing spots on an overlay. Add different icons for markers, again when testing fishing spots and you don't want to make it part of the map, a fishing icon for a marker would be useful, other marker icons would also be useful
