Boating for Android
App will not open, says unexpected error, reinstall. Done that many times and still will not open
Works well although slow to start
Will keep GPS awake even when app not open and drain your battery
this must be just like living in paradise.
This and other sister apps are great, but have many problems. It is a battery drain if you don't quit it correctly, and the official solution for years had been "quit it the right way". Otherwise it will silently drain your battery. It still can't store charts on SD card, and the official solution for years was to f@#k off. Developers need to listen more to the users, and try to bring their app up to the modern standards.
Maybe I'm missing something but this app, and the 'HD' version are of no use as a navigational tool, or really anything else. The maps look like they were drawn by a child with a crayon and have no detail at all. If you request maps of any detail it just tries to push you to a $65 upgrade. What is the point of this app at all? Why not just have the $65 version?
Works well One note, to get to map options you need to scroll down. Didn't realize this for quite some time. Need to indicate this more clearly.
Already paid for this app but because I have swapped phones I am now supost to pay for it again and it gets worse, you now have to pay for it annually. Keep it I am uninstalling. There are more on the market now. My next GPS will not have navionics in it either.
I need help, downloaded the Navionics+ and I still can't get any detailed maps.... what a waste of 15$
Can I purchase navionics app for Indian Ocean and south China sea by using Thailand dtac billing?
Excellent app, but still miss the GPS coordination on dash board
Nice best very fast navigation
thanks
Really slow on Moto's....well it works but BS is I bought and paid 14.99 a year ago and now they want me to pay again. I still travel to other lakes and have to buy other maps which is fine but I should at least been able to keep my purchase.
The 2 week trial worked great, but after subscribing, the app crashes constantly. When it crashes, it does not save my track. When I shut the app down, it still thinks it is on and shows a status icon. Nice product, but very disappointing performance.
Outstanding tech support! Submitted a request for help form and got a personalized answer within just hours. The recommendations to fix the problem were accurate and had the app up and running again in minutes.
One thing yah say it's a free app but every time I look its asking for a credit card
I have a Android tablet that I can't install my purchased app on. I can only install the free version and it will expire in a week or so. Please help...
I live in Newfoundland, Canada and this app has so much detail! Can't wait to try it out!! Thumbs up!!
It's rubbish
Oneplus one
Good work

Lots of eye candy, but difficult to program. I still can't figure out the ETA function, if there is one. They forgot K.I.S.S.
Paid for it but got a new phone and it won't let me restore my purchase. Same Google account and all. Bitlink in the review below won't work
Wish I cud link my navionics card purchase to the app by filling in the serial number instead on having to sync it to my lowrance which doesn't have wifi. Which also means I can't sync it. And I'm talking bout the mobile app not the pc version of the app.
Won't open on my Motorola g5
Not sure what the hell happened but app was deleted from my phone. Then when I reinstall it. It won't reinstall my version I paid for. Last year I paid for lifetime membership before the prices got all jacked up. Now you want me to pay more money. That's not cool. Tell me how I can get my lifetime version back on this phone.
This app would be great if it worked all time instead off shutting itself down. The charts also seem to put more land over the water and then finally reverts back to how it should be, i like the concept of the app if only it worked how it should
Great app, use it to navigate Lake of the Ozarks at night. Thanks for a great free app. Question - Is there a way to do heading up vs north up? My brain doesn't work that way.
Really good marine navigation app. Easily one of the best available. Can be a bit tricky on any device smaller than a tablet when the boat is bouncing around.
I was on a camping trip 2 days ago and the Navionics GPS was all out of whack I couldn't even use it
My contacts are getting deleted every time I use this App. By the way I paid for an In-app sonar map.
When paired with Sonar Phone, for the price, these apps are absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the pair together.
Great so far
Excellent navigation app
Yeah...... No. There are other chart plotters out there. Get OpenCPN for a proper functional chart plotter. It is free, it actually does use NOAA maps available. You can add charts purchased from CHA and other resources to your library . As a free app you can use it cross platform. Except iOS. For some this Navionics is a great app. For the rest of us we can leave the slick marketing and highly invested business model to the others. Proprietary B5 from which I have been burned before. Not for me. Cheers
Downloaded the free App to try it for 2 weeks prior to buying it, when I downloaded the maps I got the map of Washington State not Vancouver Island which was the area I highlighted and wanted. So far I haven't had a response to my email querying this. So I'm beginning to wonder if I should look elsewhere for my Chart Plotter software. Shame because from what I've seen it's a great program but I'm frustrated by not getting the maps I want and the lack of contact from Navionics.

Excellent app. Only complaints are the nuisance waiver OK required to open it EVERY time even if it was used minutes before. Not only is the waiver meaningless, but it is distracting and hampers quick access. This is especially a problem because users have to close the app often when it is not being consulted as it eats battery at a very high rate, I assume due to heavy duty GPS use. Opening it again takes too long. This app needs a sleep button or a slower update option for long passages so it can stay on without killing the battery.
