Boating Europe

I have just purchased this app to aid in navigating the south coast of England however it does not include the UK. Surprising as it is definitely part of Europe. I purchased it in preference to the "UK and Holland" option, which was cheaper, in the belief it would give me a more complete coverage of the English Channel. So I am not happy with the purchase and would like to change it for the UK and Holland option if possible. How can an app entitled boating Europe not include England.

Look to be a very handy app, off to Greece sailing so i will be using, not sure if I would rely on it solely for navigation (but then thats true with any navigational aid) but as a back up and a first attempt passage plan then great, and getting an idea if passage times and a course great. Would like to see better way point management like place way point at Lat,Lon rather than just touchscreen. Overlay mode looks to be handy when mooring as it should give an idea what to expect at an unfamiliar port.

I bought this app while i was in croatia with a chartdr sailing boat and wanted to use it for navigation. Unfortunately it kept crashing each time at startup. I cleared app data a cache several times tried reinstalling too but it just kept crashing on my nexus 7 tablet. I ended up buying the app again on my iphone. The android app was 44 Euros wasted. Id really love to get a reimbursement.

It was great app, up untill yesterday. It just syopped working on my phone (cats60) suddenly, won't even open. Tryed reinstalling it, farest i got is starting screen. Otherwise 5star app Edit: switched to 5stars, it would seem that my phone was the problem. Sd card was corupted, and extremly slow in loading data. Puting app in internal storage solwed problem. Thanks to navionics for quick reply!

I purchased this app this morning and so far I dont seem to have anything I did,nt already have for free. I have,nt got the funky looking charts as shown just the ones that look like there out of a cartoon. So far I am not at all impressed, far from it. Tried send this but it said rating required, there is,nt anything lower than a one star so its got to be -one star

Update after Navionics response: Thanks for getting back to me. I totally understand that the pixel c do not have GPS and there for the app won't work. This is clarified and solved. Perfect. No problem. This is not what this review is about. Again: I stated that I bought the wrong version. I have bought the phone version instead but should have bought the tablet HD version. This has nothing to do with the Pixel C or missing GPS. I have many times asked you about the fact that I waited 4 days to hear that I should have used another channel within 2 days. This you ignore every time.

The map swiping is often not smooth and it gets frozen for a second or two. Which makes it difficult to point to point of interests on the map. Moreover, sometimes pointing the + on a point of interest doesn't show it up, so you have to move randomly around it to finally have it appear.

Great app and a bargain buy for sailors who want accurate, up-to-date charts. No more need to rely on those dodgy Russian charts I got off Ted. :) Update 2016. I used this App on my Samsung Galaxy Tab pro to navigate from Portugal to the Caribbean via Gibraltar, The Canary Islands, Cabo Verde then Barbados, St Lucia etc. Marvellous App. Didn't need anything else whatsoever. Recommended.

I love this when it works, I have had it for two weeks and twice had to uninstall then reinstall. The problem is it locks up on the terms and conditions opening screen, I am using a quad core Lenovo Yoga tablet 2, tried clearing the cache, data and restarting. Would love to rate it 5* but having to rely on open cpn

I bought this app and have used for years. Now I have renewed it and it does not connect to my GPS. When I start sailing the GPS arrow does not move. So it is no use at all. Help!!

The application crashes seconds after opening. Cant use at all. Don't knot what to do...

I wish it was possible to get a refund for this app. It force closes seconds after opening on my S7. I have reinstalled several times with the same result.

The information about overhead cable heights is now present again. This is essential when planning routes for a sailboat in the Norwegian archipelagos.

Why i need to use different area maps with different applications... I want to use all my maps in 1 app. I was upgrading maps till now, but now i have to pay extra for to renew my maps... Why we have to pay for new futures? It will be better; ask money for new upgraded apps too so u can win more....

Expensive in the long run. First I payed for Navionics Scandinavia, then the app was replaced by Navionics Europe so I had to buy that to. They released new features as in-app purchases, so I bought them to. Now they also want me to pay a yearly subscription fee in addition to all I have already payed and also buy a new version of Navionics called HD because I have replaced my 7" tablet with a 9". Will consider alternatives before purchasing again.

My new chart plotter for the Ionian Sea

Replaced the phone, transferred app from prev terminal, archives were not imported. Trying to login in order to sync will take you to a register page. You can't login, hence nothing to import. The app has tons of advertisements. And why do you need so many apps doing the same thing??? It used to be one (single) good app.

It works well after the update, thank you! Old text: Something happened with the app after last use in spring. I opened it today and was sadly disappointed with a very low map resolution, looking like the raster 640×480 image was zoomed to the screen size of my tablet. Please answer that it's a bug to be fixed and I can keep your perfect map on the device.

I loved this app. Actually we came all the way from Spain to Malta On my cellphone. With this update the sonar charts are misaligned with the ground.

Little old ui but does what it should.

My navionic lost all details after 20€ upgrade!! Worked just fine before!

Be aware, the app is fantastic but their policy is absolutely impossible to understand...

I paid for this app, but it still has a popup that asks if I want to upgrade to an even more "advanced" version constantly. The popup covers the top of the screen. Very annoying.

I sail around Canary islands and when I bought this program the islands were included. And that was the reason I bought this. Been sailing around and using this software without complaints. Now I had to reinstall the software, meaning downloading it from google play again. NOW THE CANARY ISLAND ARE GONE!! THIS IS A FRAUD, I PAID TO GET THE CANARY ISLANDS MAP. NOW NAVIONICS TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME!!!! NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY GOOD MONEY TO GET IT BACK?!! VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!

I had the iPhone version which was good. The Android version is a few years behind the iPhone one. No routing module. You can't really edit a route, just delete the last point. Extremely disappointed! Almost useless in real life... Good just for couch sailing! After the latest updates it became what it should be: a good navigation app.

Says its down loaded took payment but hasnt downloaded not happy with this have same down load on my i pad been very happy with it but second download to my phone wont come active I have now successfully down loaded this to my phone as I was trying to download the hd version thanks for your help Ive been very happy with my I pad version and hope the phone version proves to be as efficient thanks again
