It's very much like the official Twitter app with a handful of improvements, but one disadvantage. Inline media doesn't autoplay, and GIFs don't even load or play when you click on them; they're static images. That's important enough to me that I can't use this app until it supports it. Everything else is great but no inline playback is a downgrade.
This app is ok. It isn't worth the price. It's browser based, so private lists and mobile notification are limited. You can't get notification for list and you have to create a favorite all over again. It doesn't work with twitter mobile notification list. And be aware you can't n backup your fav list. If uninstall or clear data, u have to build list all over again. Bad experience. And lack of support. I contacted them many times
The only two problems with this app are that the settings are not applied immediately (press Back), and that the return animation is in the wrong direction. Otherwise - perfect, and a more that adequate replacement for Tweetbot (coming from iOS). Totally worth the money. And for people who miss the poll functionality: Twitter Inc don't provide the API for that. Don't blame the client developers.
This app used to work well. Lately it crashes constantly, takes a long time to load, and just generally doesn't work properly. Which is a shame for a paid app. I hate to do it (because this app used to be so good) but I'm going to have to go back to the official Twitter app. I sent a tweet to who I assume is the developer of this app about how broken it is but got no reply. They got my money already, I guess they don't feel a need to fix their broken app or reply to customers.
Faster and more stable than the first party app by a long shot, but it doesn't support all notifications (why?) and media just disappears sometimes. Just use the mobile site, it's the most functional option and doesn't cost anything.
I would really love to leave my native app for it, but it still is unfinished. No gif playback, it's more difficult to follow conversations and threaded tweets, no poll feature. Please I'd love to see them. All the same, I'm in love with the column feature
I most of the time switch to the official app, this app got so many bugs, as soon as they fix some, other shows up. I tried so many other free apps and they more stable with way much less bugs
Beautiful interface and fast; sicks at gifs, no polls, doesn't show Twitter essays in order, and poor support for BLOCKING PEOPLE -- only stops future messages mentioning you - doesn't remove existing ones, so you still have to read the trash in your mentions from before you blocked them.
I've been using this app for awhile now but it's extremely glitchy. Timeline not update as it should and it crashes waaaay too often when I'm to retweet or quote a tweet. I'm now fed up and using something else.
Looked for an app to replace my beloved TweetCaster since it appears to have been abandoned. This seems to fit the bill but I have a few requests... These would definitely make it a 5-star app! *be able to mute for temporary period of time (1hr, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month) *be able to view replies to a tweet *be able to view a conversation so you can see what a tweet is replying to *wish you could both mute a user & hashtag directly from the tweet (instead of having to go to the user then into a separate menu)
Best Twitter app I've tried, keeps your place, customizable for dark or night themes. Just wish they could get polls, lame that Twitter won't allow it because the official Twitter sucks.
My key gripe is the cost of the app. I have had a much better Twitter experience on apps that perform far better and are significantly cheaper. 1. Fenix's retweeting behavior is inconsistent 2. Fenix crashes/ force closes randomly. Falcon Pro 3 is better than Fenix, Talon is superior to Fenix.
When you are using the app and then switch to another app and then come back to this app, this app locks up. It's a pain and an inconvenience.
The new extended tweet support cuts off the extra text on these tweets in both the timeline and individual tweet views, but oddly not in the reply view. Decent client otherwise.
The app looks and performs fantastically. My biggest wish is that polls are added soon, it's so annoying not being able to see them or interact with them!
Longer tweets not visible, quoted text has bugs. It seemed something broke around the weekend when Twitter updated their app.
Edit2: Removing another star, quoting hasn't worked for ages. Edit: Unfortunately broken at the moment. Quoting tweets doesn't work. _ The best Twitter client on Android, a must have for Twitter addicts :-)
It's not that I don't like it. It's not bad. But since I use this on my smartphone I figured I would use it on my tablets. Just a blown up phone view. All that space and no breaking it up.
The only thing wrong is not being able to swipe away a notification from a favorite. They keep coming back.
missing features: polls , lists , group DMs , moments , Edit profile & account settings - If you don't care about those features then the app is 5/5. Clean, simple, & "it just works"
Junk as of late. Scrolling through twitter leads to a bunch of duplicate tweets and network requests almost always fail. Clicking on profiles, videos, etc. lead to a spinner most of the time.
Was convinced to make a twitter account, decided to buy Fenix to introduce to me to twitter and after a couple of minutes of setting up my account, adding photos, finding friends in my contacts and all. I reset the app to set it to the night theme and boom all my info and work gone. No photos, no followers or the people following me showing up. Can I just have my money back, this app has annoyed the life out of me.
I paid for this app. Why can't I retweet or favorite a tweet? This happens once in a while. A bug fix should take take care of this. 3 stars for now.
Easy to use but I guess it takes time to get used to... Still needs support for direct messaging photos but I'm in love with the automatic removal of the whole "See best tweets first" thing.
Best Twitter app for Android in so many ways, and the link issue is kind of fixed. There is still a link instead of the full text but the link works now.
Its been my primary app for months now. But today, it stopped working. It says cannot connect to twitter .
Need an update to the app as it's awhile since we have support, longer twitter, view polls and GIF is missing! Developer give up Fenix already?
This app is up to date and works great. Still want to be able to do polls so I had to take off a star. Otherwise love
Tweets keep getting cut off, and the only way to see the full content of the tweets is to go to a reply and from the convo see the tweet in full content, please fix this
wtf is error 19? It takes me on average 8-10 attempts before I can successfully log in. Please fix it.
The only reason I keep the first party twitter app installed is polls. Implement those and I won't need it anymore.
It is broken for the Google pixel. Just won't refresh... Wish it would would work. I love this app
They finally fixed the issue with longer tweets, but why does the app still not support polls? This is a year-old feature
Is it just me or tweets on my timeline is cut off (the sentence i read is not full). Fix this issue please
Horrible experience. Images are not loading. Always crashing. Most of times you cant play videos. Worst than the main twitter app.
Too bad. Not a problem of my twitter settings.
Having issues lately with searches on Fenix. Searches only show 1-2 results or none at all although same searches on Twitter app turn out fine.
This used to work fine but lately the app gets stuck on tweets that are several hours old.. That just doesn't cut it, especially with an app that cost $$$. Back to the twitter app.
Favorite user tweet notifications are delayed and notification will continue to pop up if dismissed, only will stay gone if actually press the notification.

Privacy issue: Long DMs become publicly accessible—I love this app, and ditched HootSuite, which I'd used forever, to become a very happy Fenix user. But I just realized that sending DMs longer than 140 characters uses Twitlonger, resulting in the contents of the DM posting to a public site. I've reported the concern, and haven't heard back yet. Really hope this gets fixed soon. Today's update hasn't resolved it.
