Relax Rain ~ Rain Sounds

I use it every night to fall asleep next to my snoring husband. It's just enough to drown him out. I love being able to add thunder and music to the background too and also the ability to set a timer so it isn't going all night.

Love the strong thunderstorm. Use it every night. For real it's great. Love the timer love the ability to adjust amount of thunder, amount of rain, presence of music, and volume all separately. Ads are slightly annoying but not overbearing. It's a free app, what do you expect?

Absolutely love this app. Brings me back to sitting with my grandmother, watching her knit while rain was gently tapping on our kitchen window. My little one falls asleep instantly to it too!

This helped me fall asleep really quickly. I just had it playing on my phone quietly beside my bed, (the best I've found so far is 'rain on leaves') and I went to sleep in minutes. The next day I woke up early and refreshed, and actually though that there was a nice rain outside! This is a wonderful, nicely customisable and user friendly app. Five stars

The sounds are great. Put me right to sleep. The shady moving sound selector arrow click bait bar is infuriating (not a problem after full version). Also it intentionally changes to a different sound on loading to make you click through 15 selections to get to your favorite with the moving pop-up add bar when you are tired and about to go to bed. Edit: The premium version is a great deal. Bought it as soon as I found out about it. The favorites option was added not long after it was purchased. Feature request: pause button from the lock screen

I'm a connoisseur of "white noise". It helps my brain clear & my body relax, so I use sound machines daily. This app is brilliant. I've used other sound apps that have breaks or skips. Haven't found that on this app. You will like it!

I love the sound of rain. It relaxes my mind and I can sleep some what whenever I hear rain. I love rainy weather. There's a couple I'm not fond of like the thunderstorm with the music that one is not good and the one effect where it's supposed to be raining in the building or Whatever that was it wasn't good but for the most part I can say they were real sound effects. Good job on this app. Now I can plug in my earphones drink my juicy & go nap nap!!! Lol thanks for this wonderful app. I have alot of back pain and some other issues & rain helps me.

It is wonderful;..it sounds like the real thing. It's amazing different types of rain sounds allow you to choose what type of mood you want at the moment; its always a must have app on my phone...it's a sleep aide. It really helps me fall asleep and when I'm sleep finally it's a comfortable sound sleep till it's time to start my day......I will keep using it in those restless and unable to sleep nights....

Love it...... being from Illinois I miss my rain cuz an Arizona ur lucky to get rain..... wish someone would come up with the rain cars driving on the street and thunder all in one love that

I've been having trouble sleeping for the past few months. The first time I used this app I slept like a baby. I really recommend this to anyone for a good nights rest.

My favorite is the rain with the distant thunder. It's only 1.99 to get it without pop up ads which don't disturb the rain sounds anyway. Love this app! It totally helps me fall asleep ... soo relaxing

It helps me to gradually drift off to sleep naturally. Better than a pill. I love how you can adjust the sounds or turn them off. Like if you don't want the music or whatever.

Be nice if you could frogs ( not cane toads ) to a track and a high wind track as in a cyclone. I like the crickets as they give me point to focus on while the the rain & thunder closes the envelope. As tis a really good app, thank you Ron

My go to for white noise. Peacefulness, rain and wind calms my 20 month old. When she's fussy. Rain on a tent quiets my mind. Often causing sleep.

Love this app! I listen to it for hours everyday; certain selections are for when I study, some for work, and others are for sleeping. I love that I can choose to have music with it or not, and that I can add thunder for some extra effects. I have it on my phone and tablet and use both all the time. I highly recommend this rain app for anyone, and have added it to other family members and friends phones who love it also. Thank you for making it!

I love this app! I love the timer the pause and even that you can change the music. I stick with the panio. I wish there was a cricket setting for different rain cycles but that's OK! Maybe they can add it in later. Either way I love eveythjing about this app and play it to help me sleep. A M A Z I N G !

I was diagnosed with insomnia and sleep apnea. I also have a CPAP machine. But the selections of sound is great it works through the night I'm please.

Now 5 stars! I tried several other apps. I came back to this one after 3 months because of the exact timer function, and the wide range of sounds and mixes.

I use it at work to provide some background noise, it's like a library in there. It is a very nice app.

I work nights but recently I'm working days then back to nights. Its hard to get to sleep. I turn on the bungalow rain and piano. My year old Lab puppy and I snuggle up and relax. i sleep better than I have in years! Thank you for all the choices!

I love the ability to add thunder and/ or music and control all 3 sounds independently. I loved the app beforehand, but now is even better

Nice, slept all night with it plugged in, awoke like a happy daisy. And trying to figure why There were THREE small birds sing at my window sill ...ohhh....that was neighborj playing Bob Marley, all is good either yay! :)))

I love this app! Use it almost every night to help me fall asleep. So relaxing. The ability to adjust the volume of rain, music, and thunder individually is great. The sleep timer is super convenient. Overall, a really great app. Way better than any other sleep sounds app I've tried.

As a tinnitus sufferer it's awesome for those nights when I can't hear myself think for the ringing. Love the thunderstorms!

LOVE the music. The different rain sounds are actually good options. lofe the timer. prety much perfect! 5 star sleep aid.

A couple of notes before I review: 1. I've had this app for 2-3 years. 2. I use the paid/ad free version. 3. I have the most recent update. Originally, this was a great app. I would use it as white noise for falling asleep and staying asleep. Every once in a while, I would experience a small issue, but once I updated the app it would be fine. That is no longer the case. The app plays like a scratched CD, skipping all the time. The sound will cut in and out regularly, regardless of the rain sound you choose. This also occurs with or without the music or thunder sounds playing. Additionally, the app likes to just stop playing all on its own. The app doesn't close or crash, it just stops playing the sounds. I'll pick up my phone to restart the app, only to find the app still open and I just need to press play. What used to be an occasional nuisance that indicated a need to update the app, has now become a bug in the app that renders it fairly unusable for my purposes. As a result, I will be uninstalling and replacing with a new app. I can't wait for the bugs to be fixed as I use the noise to help me fall asleep and stay asleep. It was a good app while it lasted.

You set the timer go to sleep by the middle of the night it's off you have to find the page a reset it and by the time you wake up it's off again. What's the point if it can't stay on

Lots of choices of rain sounds. You can adjust how loud or soft you want plus you can adjust the loudness of the rain sound itself.

Good number of options. Helped me sleep with a crying baby in the house.

My first time of using anything like this, I can now get into the beautiful rainy mood whenever I want. Loving it

I've been using this app for years. Suggestion would be with the thunderstorms make the rain sound of the rain balanced with the thunder

The selection to choose from is incredible. There are other sound apps by this dev and they are just as good. I recommend this or other to anyone who uses white noise to sleep, who likes to relax before sleeping or just wants a change of sound in their day.

It is okay until it shuts off abruptly. This interrupts my sleep.

Only worked half the time the thunder sound is just on a loop no variation... it was decent the first time I used it and then it just kind of stopped working

Awesome thunder storm ... Few minutes forgot it's not actual thunder. Suggestion : Can you make the rain volume dynamic as in volume increases stays high then reduces lil in random

I find it very relaxing, with a racing mind at night especially I don't think I could sleep without it. During the day when I just need a quick minute or two to decompress it's my go-to app

So many ads that it kicks the app off in the middle of the night if you are planning on this going all night not happening too many ads

I study where there is no wifi and cant stream. This app is perfect for letting me listen to rain so I can drown out the sound of 30 dorks studying around me

Great app. Recommend adding section for named storms (like "Irma" here now) containing good user submissions.
