GlancePanel

GlancePanel is a Widget intended to monitor the essential parameters of the device and forecast:

- Watch
- Date
- Battery level, percentage of charge and battery temperature
- Moon phase
- Today's weather forecast
- Tomorrow's weather forecast

Touching different parts of the widget will open specific managements of the device:

- The clock opens the device clock.
- The day of the week and the month opens the calendar.
- The battery open the battery management.
- The weather forecasts opens GlancePanel application.

The weather forecast are based on a fixed location chosen during the configuration.
The widget are highly configurable, you can choose from many options:

- Location setting for weather forecast.
- Update interval of the forecast.
- Number of days of which to request the forecast (up to 5 days for World Weather Online).
- Unit of measurement for temperature and wind speed.
- You can automatically activate the data connection when updating weather data, both manual and timed.
In this case it is also settable the connection time.
- Text color and background color of the widget.
- Font and size of the watch.
- You can even trigger a notification to remind you to turn off the phone (no more possible automatically from Android 4.3).

If your device has a barometric sensor, it's reading will be shown in GlancePanel application.

There are also some advanced functions:

- warning of inactivity of a web address: after entering a Web address in the configuration, each time you synchronize will be checked if the address is reachable, otherwise it will be issued a warning.
- device temperature control: if you set the maximum temperature in configuration, once beyond this temperature will be issued a warning and, if specified, will place the device in power saving mode (requires root privileges).
- localization function: if activated in configuration allows to locate the device on receipt of an specific SMS specified in configuration. The location is done by sending an SMS with a link to the location. Also via encrypted SMS you can turn your data connection (requires root) or make a hands-free call to the number of the received SMS.
- rescue function: by tapping the moon enters a window that allows you to send an SMS with current position to a set of specified phone numbers. In addition you can make a phone call to the first number or activate a loud siren.
