About LinC - Livorno IN Contemporanea
The purpose of LinC (Livornoincontemporanea2.0) is to create a synergy between users (as citizens, tourists, students, artists, cultural operators, institutions) and contemporary artistic expressions (visual art, dance, music, theatre, literature, poetry, tasting and much more) through a tight rooting with the territory to provide useful information for a real time visit.
In this way, the city map, where there are marked sensitive Places (POI) of the present-day activities (in different vision modes), includes all the real and virtual aspects that characterized LinC: physical route, indication of contemporary places and events, beginner’s route, suggestion of a different interpretation of the city, interception of a new public, playing and sharing of the reality.
The App (LinC) becomes an instrument through which communication globalizes itself and overcomes the specific event, leaving a permanent trail of the activities carried out and the ones yet to be achieved, in a continuous dialogue with its protagonists.
In this way, exhibition, visual art and contemporary music workshops, book presentation, dance performance and urban art yard are conceived as moments of focus and interaction, for the artists, the administrators and the public.
The app (LinC) includes all the information of places, events, initiatives, organizers, collaborators, partners and sponsors. LinC works as a virtual space where it’s possible to help the urban art debate, to publish videos of the activities carried out, to benefit from the peculiarities of Livorno (and the Province as well), even the most hidden ones.
The app is created in two languages (Italian and English) and requires a simple registration.
It also recommends to the user a custom and optimized route, according to time available, cultural interests and age.
The user, either in the interior or in the exterior of the chosen places (POI - Point of interest), will be able to have access to detailed tourist information, workshops, meetings, lectures, performances, exhibition events that will face some the most interesting aspects of the contemporaneity: visual art, dance, music, healthy food and the relationship with architecture and town planning. Have a nice discovering with LinC!
