La Società Oftalmologica Italiana - Ente Morale giuridicamente riconosciuto, fondata nel 1869 - è la Società Scientifica che da centotrentaquattro anni rappresenta l’oftalmologia italiana.
Oggi con 5600 Soci attivi, SOI è la Società Oftalmologica più grande e rappresentativa d’Europa ed è punto di riferimento per i 7153 medici oculisti italiani, interlocutore scientifico nel mondo della visione e garante nei confronti dei professionisti e dei pazienti degli standard di eccellenza che portano l’oculistica italiana ad essere considerata tra le migliori al mondo.
L'App SOI è divisa in 3 aree:
- Congressi, all'interno della quale il Socio può consultare i programmi dei due Congressi annuali SOI, ricercare e visualizzare gli eventi ai quali è iscritto e salvarli tra i preferiti, la mappa della sede, la lista degli espositori, ed ogni informazione utile legata al Congresso.
- Pubblicazioni, all'interno della quale il Socio può tenersi aggiornato su tutte le pubblicazioni della SOI, ed eventualmente acquistarle in formato eBook dall'Apple Store o visualizzarle in Pdf se gratuite.
- Istituzionale, all'interno della quale il Socio può visualizzare le informazioni generali relative alla SOI, recuperare documenti di interesse professionale come Atti di Consenso e Linee Guida, e visionare i Concorsi SOI attivi.
