Le guide AmaCittà sono pratiche da usare e possono racchiudere una grande quantità di
informazioni, utili guidare i turisti alla scoperta delle proprie bellezze ma anche per far scoprire a cittadini e residenti storie e angoli nascosti della propria città.
Un accurato sistema di puntamento permette la precisa segnalazione dei beni sulla mappa; inoltre le guide AmaCittà contengono percorsi specifici per aree tematiche e per diversi pubblici, e ogni scheda può essere arredata di testi, audio-guide, immagini, allegati, oltre a vari collegamenti per infinite possibilità di approfondimento.
Ogni guida AmaCittà prevede molti modi per accedere ai contenuti: toccando direttamente i pin sulla mappa, attivando la navigazione GPS e avvicinandosi ai beni, tramite QRCode o digitando un codice numerico sull’apposito tastierino, navigando tra le sezioni della guida e, infine, con la tecnologia beacon. Ogni guida consente di selezionare i propri beni preferiti per visite personalizzate.
Quando disponibili, le guide AmaCittà consentono di scaricare anche le guide dei musei cittadini, per visite sempre più ampie e complete.
