Hoover Wizard

Its a pitty i cannot connect the app to the dishwasher. Keeps failing. It was the main reason for getting this make and model, but looks like im not the only one. Come on Hoover sort it out, it's not as if your a small company. But i must say apart from the app the dishwasher is very good and does what it should do.

Bought the tumble drier, downloaded the app. The license agreement pops up wanting permission to trawl through my phones photo gallery. Why does drying my socks need this? Also, reading the other reviews, it looks as if the app doesn't work. With software this bad, its no wonder their hardware burns people's houses down. Uninstalled app while I still have any privacy left.

i purchased a hoover dynamic next one touch washing machine on 12/7/17 for the convenience of  the one touch app capability.  My android device has NFC capability yet I am unable to download the app. The main feature of the machine and essentialy the reason for choosing your brand is useless to me and I have stressed for the entire time of having this machine to set it up......

The app is poorly written. The section says Duet then goes on about drying 5 pairs of jeans! The diagnostics doesn't work. It's a pity they don't test it out before they submitted it to Google. You must try harder.

Absolute rubbish. You have to keep the app open all of the time for it to work. When you use the app the door on the washing machine doesn't unlock. If you start the wash on the tough pad the app shows nothing. Smart washing machine, waste of money.

Tried to set up washer and kept being told that Mac address was currently in use. Then went to the contact us page on the website, where I was politely informed that the purchase date of the machine doesn't exist.

Doesn't work. My Wi-Fi is strong, repeated attempts to connect. The app sees my network fine but will not connect to my Hoover hob. Help me rectify and I'll amend my review. Samsung S8.

I bought oven and application for that is pretty useless. - when I'm creating recipe with time for cooking that time starts from the moment when procedure is activated not adding any time for oven to worm up. - no option to modify recipe. - I can switch oven on with any heating function but no option for timer in that scenario - no info about current temperature so I have to wait until oven will give me signal On summary it's easier to use that oven manually than thruout application

When it works its ok. But it's plagued with 'offline' messages even though my dishwasher is online. Closing and re-opening the app sometimes helps. But in the end it's quicker to just select the programme on your dishwasher. Major overhaul is needed.

The app is completely useless. The so called clever check up doesnt tell you whether the washing machine is in good order or not. For all I know the flashing lights afterwards could mean its broken. It doesnt leave any reports. Doesn't work on delay timer. Theres no duvet cycle as advertised. Click the tips and hints button in the app and the page is non existent. My washer is two weeks old, and now i dont feel that that is even fit for purpose (phone control), let alone the app. One touch?... Lucky if it even works after 50 touches.

Only reason I bought the 'smart washer' was for this reason. Downloaded the app but it won't connect via NFC. I'm starting to doubt these have the NFC in them judging by these reviews. Do not waste your time or money on this washer!!!

Takes ages to load when it does it says that it is offline when it clearly is on or it goes into read only mode and requires pressing of buttons for an app that supposed to make life easier it don't half stress me out

If there was a zero star rating I'd use that. Badly designed, badly implemented and without quality control. It's impressive though that it's more badly designed than the washing machine it controls (and some idiot thought what looks suspiciously like a capacitive control panel was a good idea so that's saying something).

Purchased a hoover dynamic washing machine so I can use this app on my oneplus 5.... Does not work at all Hoover why advertise something that don't work even on my iPhone

Badly designed app. Fails to connect or read only mode until force restarted. Also a problem with losing access due to saved credentials being unable to log in. Poor.

Absolute rubbish. The app won't connect to my washing machine - and since I can find the NFC chip just fine with other apps, I know where the problem is. Everything else is the usual junk that manufacturers dump in an app just so they can claim to have one.

Worked 1st time. Downloaded app, registered my account and the app paired with machine immediately. For those of you trying to use a tablet device or an apple device, they will not control your machine, and the instructions point this out. Will update later after more use.

App connects to washing machine but the setup never works! Never connects to my WiFi even though the password is correct and everything, very frustrating

I can not get the app to work with mh samsung s6 edge this is why i bought this model of machine so i could do this

Not working. Never wanted to accept my washer-dryer's serial number. The support never responded to the online support form. No use.

Doesn't work on Samsung S7. Says screen size is incompatible. Also won't let me read the whole screen. Won't sync with machine either.

Anlther piece of spyware by hoover. Why washer needs contacts access?

Can not pair with my one touch tumble dryer even though i have an S7edge with nfc.......

Problems connecting to one touch tumble dryer. Have tried using 3 separate phones with nfc and all above android 4.4 up to android 7.1 all fail to pair with the machine (phones all work fine pairing with other nfc devices we own in the home) . Reinstalled app on all 3 phones and tried serial number option and it still fails to pair. Had a new machine delivered in case of a bad nfc board issues on the 1st machine (must point out that the hoover customer service is brilliant and replaced the machine after the help over the phone failed to make the one touch work. Can't faulter that department as they are very good ) but app still fails to connect with the new machine using all 3 nfc phones. Keeps saying unable to pair with device. So disappointed. Based on my experience connectivity with the one touch tumble dryers is a problem. Looks like the one touch tumble dryers only recently got added to the app which could be the cause, may there is a broken command somewhere. The one touch feature of the 2 machines we tried don't seem to be able to pair regardless of what nfc phone is used. Have also tried a manual connection using the phones Bluetooth menu after attempting the connections with the nfc. Phones brings up the tumble dryer number on its Bluetooth list as recognised but on trying to manually pair to the machine, the phone is redirected to a broken candy internet link. Not really sure what else to try. I am not a fan of giving bad reviews as people work hard for their products and living but for now i am unable to give the one touch technology for the tumble dryer a high rating. If this review was for customer service it would be a diffent story as they have a brilliant customer service which was spot on and is the only reason we are keeping this machine as we know that if we get any future mechanical failures we should be well looked after. Hopefully the one touch technology problem will be fixed in the near future and having connectivity to the machine will allow me to give this technology a more favourable review.

Worked fine once i got it set up which was a pain then all was okay once in a while I had to press and hold the spin speed and prewash to set the WiFi back up but nothing major then came my Android update problems started with this app haven't been able to connect at all which is a pain hopefully Candy/Hoover Will update this as like a lot of you people it's no good if it's not going to work so here's hoping they do ..HeZ

Doesn't work properly. Spent 4 hours trying to sort it out first it wouldnt connect to the washer then when i managed to get though that it kept timing out when trying to connect to my home wifi witch is mad because i have virgin and i can connect to it like 50 yards away on my phone . Needs sorting out the washer is a great at the normal wash when you control it with the bottons on it but i bought it for the wifi feature so am really disappointed that it doesnt work.

So I can register and activate the washing in the app via nfc and it displays washing machine in the home section but when I click on it all it has is manual faq and tips and hints - no program control or anything else

Doesn't work with Sony xperia z3 managed to get it to connect with oneplus one phone in the end, but the report for washes used is completely inaccurate. Also there are no programs to download only the ones on the washing machine despite hoover website claiming there are additional programs like duvet cycle that can be downloaded using app. This is a very poorly coded app and only seems to support certain versions of nfc. Machine is impressive but the app is a pile of dung

Complete NIGHTMARE! purchased a WiFi Washing machine from hoover and downloaded this app. We have excellent WiFi with virgin media and this​ machine still won't connect. Hoover have sent an engineer out twice. They have replaced the board on the machine and guess what still doesn't work. I give up!

Having had two damaged washing machines from Argos, I have tested this app and the same thing happens....NOTHING. NFC works perfectly well on Android pay. Will be getting a third replacement in 4 weeks but I bet that will be the same. Android 7 on HTC10. Should just work when hovered over the logo. Sort it out Hoover. So your reply is almost indicating I don't know what I am doing! Clear logo on washer, clear option on dial for NFC. Third machine also received damaged didn't work either. HTC10 Android 7.

The NFC doesn't work for my one plus 3t. Having used the nfc during the day for android pay. So it's not my phone just a badly coded app
