In the EU this software should be CE marked under the MDD 93/42/EEC. This process ensures the device is safe and performs as intended, and is mandatory legal requirement. There is no evidence this has happened (and I have had no response from the manufacturer), therefore whilst it is a fun bit of software it should not be used for medical purposes and definitely not used for treatment decisions until it is properly CE marked (via scrutiny by notified body as this is a class I measuring or class IIa device)
