Sentiero Matilde

Sotto il segno della Gran Contessa Matilde una rete di sentieri segnalati collega le principali località naturalistiche e storiche della collina reggiana.
Le tappe sono cinque (più il raccordo di ingresso da Reggio Emilia) divise in varie sottosezioni, con alcune possibili varianti.
Attraverso di esse il Sentiero Matilde ci conduce dalla rupe di Canossa a San Pellegrino in Alpe, balcone naturale sulla Garfagnana, attraverso castelli, case a torre, antiche pievi e borghi in pietra arenaria. Under the sign of the Great Countess Matilde a network of marked trails linking the main natural and historical hills of Reggio.
The stages are five (plus the inlet fitting from Reggio Emilia) divided into various subsections, with some possible variations.
Through them the Matilda Path leads us from the cliff of Canossa to San Pellegrino in Alpe, natural balcony on the Garfagnana, through castles, tower houses, ancient churches and villages in sandstone.
