About Glucolog Lite

GlucoLog Lite is a free Diabetes Diary application that is available whenever you need it, wherever you are. Now you can manage diabetes on-the-move, storing your blood glucose and ß-ketone results and analyzing trends and variations.
GlucoLog Lite allows direct transfer of glucose and ketone data from an A. Menarini Diagnostics meter to your smartphone/tablet using GlucoLog B.T. device*.
All the information can be sent directly to your healthcare professional by email via your device.

*For more information about GlucoLog B.T. device visit

Main features:

Logbook

Glucose and ß-ketone values can be stored and sorted by time and date.
Correct monitoring and therapeutic control of people with diabetes has to take into account levels of β-hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB) - the major ketone body accumulated in blood, as well as hyperglycaemia. DKA can occur in patients with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) as the initial event of the pathology, or at any time after diagnosis, as the result of insulin deficiency. All the data are automatically organized in a chart with statistical analysis.

Charts

All the results and trends can be organized and displayed in graphic format where any out-of-range results (hyper or hypoglycaemia) are shown in different colors.

Type

For each result the user can enter comments concerning sports, medication or diet.

Personalization

The software can be customized to any user needs thanks to a simple setup utility. Users can also set the glycaemic acceptability range according to their personal glycaemic profile.

E-Mail

The user can send the results and the associated information directly to his/her healthcare professional by e-mail.

New update on how to select the time is awful. You can't see the numbers properly to select it on the clock face. It was much better before when you could just enter the time manually.

NFC doesn't seem to work- I work on IT so if the company responds asking if I have tried this and that then YES! I spent an hour trying and NFC works with all my other devices. Quite frankly this is an incredibly poor app that is embarrassing. The company should be ashamed.

Good app, syncs most of time however often sounds like sync complete when hasnt. Also when connected to s health only the last result goes over to s health not all? So do I need to sync after each blood test or should they all transfer over?

The option to send email is missing. Is there any other way to export data? Found it: there's no longer a mail button as shown in the pictures but a '+' button which I assumed was to add an entry but in fact 'hides' other options as well...

Since updated all dates have changed to 2046 instead of 2017.

Can't get Nfc to function on any of my devices Sony, LG, Ulefone or Elephone. Tried the low power Bluetooth dongle app crashes when attempting to upload. Returned to my previous meter. I have settings set correctly. Only seams to work with Samsung devices.

by N####:

NFC does not work. Enabled on both the device and the phone. Tried troubleshooting. 1 hr of my life I'm not getting back. Straight in bin

K70%
by K####:

I was nt happ. About having to change to glycomen metre but with this app it now saves me having to take metre to diabetic clinics and can email results to diabetic nurse NRC is working fine with my phone have seen some people not happy with this i found it easy to set up and am happy with the change NHS made

N70%
by N####:

Great app however sometimes fails to transfer data, but usually does after a couple attempts. Would be nice if ketone data is automatically downloaded a well.

N70%
by N####:

No matter what I tried I couldn't get the blue tooth to work. Their tech Dept said the phone was compatible & I'm not too stoopeed so really can't rate this app worth anything.

N70%
by N####:

Would be excellent if I could delete logs on the app. Won't let me.

S70%
by S####:

The NFC is useless tested it on graph meters zero readings dose not send out a signal. Your phones are fine the problem is with the meter. It's just a gimmick and to rip off the NHS in providing second rate monitoring systems with high cost blood strips. Providing false hope to those who would really find this helpful. Cashing in on the disabled and the NHS which affects every one.

infuriating - trying to set up this app to run with glucometer so I can theoretically email results from my samsung galaxy s6 edge is impossible. a few seconds is all my meter can manage before the big red X descends - i feel a bit like Simon Cowell as he ejects another talentless window cleaner with a sob story from the X Factor! - seriously this should be straightforward & not like pulling teeth...please sort it out...ps what on earth is a PID when it's at home?

It's probably OK for glucose, but unfinished for ketones (no graph,etc...). Also when exported results, wrong value for ketones in csv file (0 instead 0.2)... Uninstalled...

Works reasonably well but keeps changing the display type and the dates on the graphs without warning. Intensely irritating.

Thank you for this free service. Just got this and it's good at recording measurements so no need to carry diary but it seems there is no way to record comments or edit the entry? Or am I doing something wrong please? Integration with Fitbit would be good too?

Lots of faults, this is an example of good hardware being letdown by poor software Errors found in just 2 days, 1, s health on samsung should be supported, but a reading of 26.3mmol/l gets transferred to s health as 1.5mmol/l and readings in the meter of under 20mmol/l just don't get transferred as he resulting conversion is too small to be added 2, i have turned off keytone tracking but when the app is re-started the keytone button reappears 3, i can export by email ok, but the html report has been poorly designed, why not group 1 days results on 1 line instead of 1 line for every result?? the cvs or zip file can not be imported into the mac version of the software, either this is a fault, or you have simply supplied really bad instructions please correct it A.Mernani have been let down by using a 3rd party software developer, its a shame i think the hardware could do really well if it had software to support it Maybe trying to get other software developers to integrate the meter into their software will give users a better option, maybe glooko, mysugr, or on track diabetes. i then think the user could have a good experience

The new update has changed the graphing, meaning i cant see how many results are in my high/low boundaries. Its added extra comments/glucose etc to a table list that was barely usable before and now makes it absolutely pointless. Some text is white on a light grey background. Also has no seeming export of data, i just want to save as a .csv file on my phone. Also found a software bug in your areo meter. Please improve this app. It would make it very useful.

It would be SUPER awesome if it could interface with Fitbit or My Fitness Pal. i'd gladly pay good money for this integration. As it stands, still it's a good app but coule be much much better.
