Shoutcast is my primary portal to the world's on line radio. Love its station selection which mostly has few commercials. BUT....the latest shell (with Android use) poorly responds to pressing "play".

Searches data base fine, but that's it. cannot sort by bit-rate (which is very important to many), but it plays nothing, just gives you an error. I noticed it had an update a month ago. I wonder what version of android? 1.0?

For me this works great. I have always enjoyed shoutcast radio on my Roku. But never thought to look here. Glad I did. Pandora gone iheart gone tunein radio gone. Only one I need is shoutcast. Tons of stations

The UI is just their website. It's no different vs opening in your browser. But it works, and that's all I really care about.

Useless. A thin wrapper around the Shoutcast website which, on my device, completely fails to play any station.

Of course, it's the best! They practically invented Radio Streaming using a simplistic and futuristic approach that still works. Allowing anybody with little knowledge and patience to create their own radio station. If it doesn't work for you. It's definitely not Shoutcast, but some Outcast renegade like me, that has not configured their device correctly to run with this App.
