SentieriVCO

SentieriVCO è la nuova applicazione che ti permette di conoscere tutti i sentieri delle Valli del Verbano Cusio Ossola, dalle passeggiate più semplici, alle escursioni per veri esperti. Sette itinerari, con un centinaio di sentieri, tutti classificati per durata, difficoltà, dislivello max e minimo, con mappe interattive e in pdf da scaricare. I sentieri scelti rientrano nel Piano di Promozione Integrato PSR 2007/2013, finanziato dalla Comunità Europea.


La versione beta di SentieriVCO è stata pensata per il turista che si trova nel Verbano Cusio Ossola, al fine di dare informazioni in merito alle escursioni praticabili sul territorio provinciale. L’applicazione mette a disposizione uno strumento, semplice ma pratico, che permette di filtrare i percorsi sulla base delle proprie necessità, di visualizzare le mappe dei sentieri ed ottenere utili informazioni sugli stessi, e di favorire in loco l'orientamento durante le escursioni.
Lo stesso portale web sentieridelverbanocusioossola.it, di cui l'app è parte integrante, permette di individuare e pianificare prima le escursioni, divise per vallata e modalità di utilizzo (piedi, bici, cavallo). Inoltre, al fine di migliorare la visione d'insieme del territorio e della rete sentieristica, sarà in futuro disponibile anche una mappa cartografica interattiva.
L'app attualmente mira a valorizzare sette itinerari escursionistici per un totale di circa un centinaio di sentieri. Per ciascuno dei percorsi è già disponibile una cartina in formato pdf, per il download e l'uso offline. Per i percorsi compresi nell’itinerario “Tra Lago Maggiore e Lago d’Orta” è inoltre già possibile visualizzare online i tracciati dei sentieri e la propria posizione in tempo reale, grazie al sistema Gps del proprio smartphone. Tale funzionalità sarà implementata anche per gli altri sentieri, non appena tutti i file gpx saranno nella disponibilità della Provincia.
Nelle prossime release previste, i contenuti saranno arricchiti con nuovi tracciati, mappe e informazioni.
Con l’auspicio di avere, almeno in parte, risposto alle critiche sollevate nei primi commenti degli utenti, resta inteso che ogni eventuale suggerimento è sempre gradito ed oggetto di attenzione, ai fini di possibili miglioramenti dell’applicazione. The beta version of SentieriVCO was designed for tourists which is located in Verbania, in order to give information about the sightseeing excursions in the province. The application provides a tool, simple but practical, which allows you to filter routes based on their own needs, to view maps of the trails and get useful information about them, and to encourage on-site orientation while hiking.
The same web site sentieridelverbanocusioossola.it, which is an integral part of the app, allows you to identify and plan the trips before, divided by the valley and how to use (walking, bike, horse). In addition, in order to improve the overall vision of the territory and of the trail network, will be available in the future also a cartographic map interactive.
The app currently aims to enhance seven hiking trails for a total of about a hundred paths. For each of the tracks you already have a map in PDF format for download and offline use. For paths in the itinerary including "Between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta" is also already can be displayed online tracked the paths and its position in real time, thanks to the GPS system of your smartphone. This feature will be implemented for other paths, as soon as all the gpx files are in the possession of the Province.
In the next planned release, the content will be enriched with new tracks, maps and information.
With the hope of having, at least in part, responded to the criticism raised in the first user feedback, it is understood that any suggestion is always welcome and the object of attention for possible improvements of the application.
