Glimp for Android
Edit .. looks like samsung have fixed the nfc problem on s8 plus, it is working after phone updated. Also thanks to the dev for the quick reply watch is now working after given instruction
Great app. LOnly problem is I can't see how to input a specific number of carbs at meal times.
Any possibility of turning off the nfc sound detect noise?? Vibrate is enough, really annoying if you forget to turn your phone volume down, found this info online... Starting with API level 19 (Android 4.4) you can disable the NFC sounds while your app is in the foreground by using the newer reader-mode API to listen for NFC tags. The reader-mode API has a flag FLAG_READER_NO_PLATFORM_SOUNDS that can be used to disable the NFC discovery sounds.
Can't handle external intent: when out of app and trying to scan a sensor, app is suggested to process it, but IOException is all it does when app is opened. Fix it. Tested on Samsung S6. Also add a way to lock screen rotating, because scanning almost always involves that rotating and as a result - activity recreation and TAG WAS LOST ISSUE. Omg, that's so annoying sometimes
It is vibrating two times and telling that bytes received. But no reading or graph is visible
It would be nice that after sensor scan app automatically show (go) to that time measurement, now we need to press bottom middle button after scan
Understand that there is a fix fr Samsung. Will Glimp now work with S8??
Our shortcomings using 'Options' curtailed 'Eureka' *else s/w is excellent*. Thank You
A really clean widget gets this app 5 stars. So far does what it says and fairly stable.
Would be even better if you created the app for the Samsung smart watch as it has nfc
Works perfectly...Now works with S8 also...Great app....
Great app
What a fantastic app. Using it with a Nexus 5X. Being able to see trend lines, and test so frequently, is amazing. After only 3 blood tests to calibrate, app is very precise. Now able to accurately predict what my blood sugar will be like in the next hour. Genuinely life changing, if I could give it 6 stars I would!
Not working on Oneplus 5..recognizes the sensor but the reading doesn't happen. Tried all options in settings. Please help.
Thank you for the quick response! The app is now working on my watch and showing the correct units! Brilliant, makes my life so much more convenient.
Excellent App works with my Panasonic Switch. Will it work with oneplus5?~~
CGM goes dark on screen post loading can't read it. Can't download or print data.
This is extremely useful app..
Better than librelink
Hi, i just started to use it Today and its taking too much time to detect the NFC and some time even its takes more than 15 min to catch the NFC beep. I have to change different position of the mobile and suddenly i got the hit. I am using two different Note5 phones and its happening with both the phones. Please any suggestion
The best app for libre around. The trick to make it work with s8 is to downgrade the firmware to ...AQCA via Odin and never update again. Lg g6 (the one im using now) has the best nfc antenna. Almost as good as the official reader. The integration with diabetes :m is the best new feature. It provides great charts.
Works great on my Moto Z Play. However, I can't get the purple line to show. Is there something I can do to see the uncorrected raw data from libre?
Great app for reading Libre sensor from supported phones. Works great on aging Samsung Note2
This has the chance to be a great app if a few things can be tweaked. The app constantly stop in the background even though it shouldn't. This delays readings coming over to the watch. Sugar alerts don't work either unless I open the app. As someone who doesn't use the Libre, I wish there was a way to account for basals and boluses for other pump users. Still a decent app though.
Great app - allows T1 child to use it on smart watch to easily check blood sugars in seconds during the day without having to get any other devices out and for parent to use for CGM at night. Game changer for diabetes management if you are using Libre.
Great app for getting BG values and so very convenient. Only problem is finding a device that it works on. I have a one plus 3t and glimp dosent work on it. Any way of making it work
Comprehensive app...allows me to always have a method to check my blood sugar even if I forget my Freestyle Reader.
Why does this not work with the Gaxy S8 but was fine with the S7
Wonderful App!!! Wish that it could also generate reports like those from the freestyle libre sensor!
If it would allow me to save the files to a specific folder in my dropbox I will give it 5 stars !!!
Great App, turns my libre into a cgm, thank you
So much better than LibreLink
Best app for freestyle libre sensor
The app freezes occasionally when reading the sensor. Also reading the sensor can be a little bit tricky and slow at times. However, the app is far more accurate than Abbott's scanner when comparing the blood sugar readings. Therefore I have switched to using Glimb instead of the official sensor.
Help! Suddenly unable to use the app. Opened the app and the screen turn white then black then white then black again before going to the normal screen. But the app could not connect to the sensor! Its a wonderful app and i have been using it for a while, its the first time im facing this problem.
Brilliant. After initial learning curve it replaced all other ways of recording. I wish I could figure out how to let me know when my insulin has worn off or add other non insulin medication.
Readings are much higher than Abbott's reader and BG test strips by more than 2mmol/L. There is no option to enter a "correction factor" to match the reader and test strips. The home screen is bit difficult to see on small phone (Sony Xperia Z1 Compact), but Ok on tablet. It is useful - I use it to export the non-summary data to Google Sheets.
Was able to read only once. Since then, whenever I try to read the sensor, the phone vibrates and the app freezes!
Well the value it reads are extremely accurate, had an idea to get an Samsung a3 but apparently it can damage the sensor, Any software reason for that? I was contemplating making the app work with the fairphone 2, got an external nfc reader, would it be possible to try to integrate external NFC modules with this app?

Issue with the new oneplus 5. Worked well with Moto X play and Samsung Galaxy A7 but doesn't connect with the new phone. Sometimes the sensor is recognised but end up with one of the two messages 1. Received 1(<2 bytes) 3 & 2. Tag lost. What could be the issue?
