Clyp - Record and Share Audio

I can't log on to my main account it just automatically logs me on to my Facebook account and I can't view account settings to change it. Also where is the type to search method so I can at least look up my songs via my Hash tags. Give the option to log into main uploading account. give the option to view your sounds so you can show other people. Lastly add a search bar. To find specific names of songs rather than what's hot and new. Thanks!

The ONLY sign in option is FB. I have a Clyp account but there is no option to sign in or connect with it. Also I cannot even search for the audio I uploaded from my account, just random results. I haven't tried uploading from the app, but basically ALL you can do is sign in with FB and upload a mobile recording and listen to random user tracks. Once you can sign in with your actual Clyp account and search and view specific tracks, and maybe view notifications, like the desktop web version, 5 stars.

I feel like it's an OK app. I have no idea why you need to sign into Facebook to log in when on the desktop website, you can just make a clyp account and PRESTO. Why does it have to be to the point of logging into Facebook? Anyway, besides that it's pretty good. They just need to add more features and little tiny tweaks. Above all, I give it 3 stars.

The service is excellent. The app leaves something to be desired... At the least, one should be able to upload ones own voice recordings captured from outside the app. I dunno what these ppl are complaining about w/Facebook login... I simply logged in as I would on the website and everything worked a treat.

Hopefully there is a way to create an account not via Facebook. Would prefer email. Facebook sharing and authorization when saving or uploading has a glitch. Keeps looping to Facebook for authorization when already authorized. Had to force close to stop it. Also, option to delete a recording will be nice and practical. Uploaded a short test recording which I wanted to delete but couldn't. Just imagine unwanted recordings piling up on your server, wasteful.

Facebook? Really? Why do you have to use facebook? Clyp is an amazing application/website, but the fact that you can't use your desktop account is actually just.... Stupid. I don't know how else to say it, besides stupid. Just load up the desktop site on Chrome (Show Desktop Site). It will save a lot of you.

I have this app installed, but I still prefer using the website on chrome. Why? Because the app doesn't allow you to choose what part of a clyp you want to listen to, the app is also a little buggy sometimes in loading your uploads. I love the website, but the app needs some serious work

So I've been using clyp for a long ass time and when i downloaded the clyp app, it's great but........it would've had 5 stars from me but i can't switch accounts, when i try to login, it connects me right away with my facebook account, and i can't deny that like i have a different account that's not associated with my facebook, so that's what I'm wondering!

As others have pointed out, this app is utterly useless to me without the ability to sign into my account (I don't have facebook) nor being able to search for tracks/users. It's a shame because the web client is on point.

All I wanted to do when I downloaded this app was to log in to my account (not with Facebook) and upload a file that was on my phone, but the app doesn't do it, pretty disappointed, waiting for an update :/

HUGE problem. I have a clyp.it login but can't log into the app without a totally separate Facebook account? Is this a joke?!

Nothing is saving??? I just downloaded this...did a bunch of voice recording....I hit the Facebook button and the app totally freaks out. Nothing saved. So I go back and ND record a 30 second tester. I hit "share" it says "uploading" and that's it. Nothing else happens. It isn't saved on the app. It didn't uoad to facebook. What is the point?? Super frustrating.

Why in God's name do I not have the ability to log in to the actual Clyp account that I already have, only facebook of all things??? What the hell??

The mobile versions of Clyp should be updated to catch up with the Clyp the desktop version is using right now.

I downloaded this because it was supposed to upload files to Facebook. Didn't work. Full of bugs. I deleted it. :-(

I think this could be better with more options and it would be nice to have a search tool along with a section where you can save music kind of like SoundCloud

I already have a Clyp account, but I can't sign into it because I don't have a Facebook. I can't sync my mobile and laptop clips. Other than that, this would be just the app I need.

Only FB login makes to awful to use.

I already have an account & I did not use Facebook but that seems to be the only way to sign in on the mobile app. Fix this.

Great mobile alternative to Vacaroo.

Missing some features. For one, the player lack the ability to jump around in the track and neither can i see the waveforms realtime.

I'm only scoring this much because when I open the app, it will only load as far the the 'CLYP' splash screen and it suddenly crashes. I will adjust my score and/or review as soon as this can be fixed! Thanks a lot!

Could use a couple features but overall a great app. I can't seem to get it to work on my LG phone and that really bothers me. On my phone the app will not start. But it works great on my Hisense tablet.

..there's still a lot of room for improvement. Like: 1) Google+ login should be added; 2) Still crashes/force closes a lot at its current version. This should be fixed ASAP; 3) Should put an option to upload audios that have already been recorded so users won't have to keep re-recording whenever the app crashes

I will say this honestly I was super stoked to have found an app that would record audio and upload to Facebook in mp3 format. However after using this app.. well attempting to use this app. Here's my honest review of it. If you are looking forp an app that will record in really good quality and have ability to upload to fb then yeah great app. Butv don't expect itv to work everytime. I really wish I could view my music in a timeline instead of having to listen to it from startPlease fix and will rate 5

I won't act mean like others below. I just loved this App. My reason is I am an hobbyist music producer. And I often share my music with people. But I was using soundcloud for it. But sound cloud isn't good for free users. It don't allow you to upload 320kbps instead it destroys sound quality by converting it in low size. But CLYP is amazing. It allows you upload high quality music and share it. Honestly I love the design and UI. And I am graphic/UI/UX designer by profession. I love how simple is it.

It's honestly a great app overall, but it's missing a few key things. I don't have facebook, meaning I can't sign in to save anything on here. I can't make a Playlist so I have to reopen the app anytime I want to play another song! Other then that, not bad honestly.

I originally used the website from my computer. I was very excited when I discovered that there was an app and downloaded immediantly. I am now unimpressed after seeing the lack of features that could be there that the website has. Such as: login in to accounts without the use of Facebook, not being able to search tags like the website has, and even when I logged in using Facebook it was exactly the same as having no account. When this app rises in Features then it will get all 5 of my stars :D.

The app should be still improved a lot. Bunch of missing features, bugs and light a bit. That's why I give it 3 stars for now.
