Con MATE si sfata il pregiudizio che ci siano persone che “non sono portate per la matematica”, che sia una scienza appannaggio di pochi eletti, di difficile accesso ai più.
La rivista tratta la matematica come piacere: come lo stesso piacere che dà la musica, la poesia, l’architettura, il design… tutto ciò che mostra un’armonia, anche se non se ne conoscono tutte le regole.
