Barometer Monitor version 1.4, Sony Xperia Active, Android 4.04. Free and no adds. Small storage and memory footprint. Small battery drain (compared to app "barograph"). Settings useful (time interval, time to keep data). Graphical display very good with possibility to zoom. CSV export works well, but output file requires work before it can be of use due to date format (US "Month in letters Day, year H:MM:SS AM/PM" in my case) and to mixture of commas and spaces separating data fields. Will be better to have coma separated data fields for year, month (as a number), day, hour (24h format), minutes, seconds, pressure to make rearrangement of CSV data file fields easier for anybody. The data recording stops randomly (as on most other barometer aps)

App works great and all, BUT only suggestion i wpuld love to see added is to be able to choose the background and graph line colour, dark green on a black background and then go outside all you see is a black screen.

Puts a barograph in your pocket! Very easy to use, clear and ergonomic display, but just one more feature would greatly increase its value: a storm alert function.

I have severe back pain & use this when my pain kicks up to see if the pressure is dropping so I know what the cause is. Also get migraines (that can last up to 4 days) when the pressure shoots back up sometimes, so again use this to confirm if that may be the cause. Also keep in mind when driving, you will see fluctuations in the pressure due to your altitude rising & dropping (same as in aircraft). So if you drive to work & see the pressure drop every time on your way, your work is at a higher altitude.

Last year, I used this app to determine barometric pressure changes on my fishing trips and the app was great. Now, it rarely loads and when it does it is very slow to function.

Would give this 5 stars if I could specify the start time of the readings then record at specified interval, and if could set alarm to alert if rate of change exceeds a given value over a stated time or less

I wish it could filter out or allow you to edit out liers.

You can a have a barometric pressure running record presented as a graph or a table. It would be nice if the timescale shown on the graph really represented the selected timescale. It would be even nicer to be able to calibrate off known local elevations. But I use the app every day on my boat. Thanks. Nexus 5, 6.0.1

Like the graph and listings. Suggestions : (1) Sort option to put recent readings at top. (2) Option to touch graph with feedback on time and reading on that part of graph. (3) An alert function when pressure is out of a specified range. (4) 3D ?... Excellent app.

Barometer Monitor version 1.4, Sony Xperia Active, Android 4.04. Small storage and memory footprint. Small battery drain (compared to app "barograph"). Settings useful (time interval, time to keep data). Graphical display very good withpossibility to zoom. 4 stars only due to following limitations. Although it keeps recording data on the background even after application exit and screen shut off, at times it stops logging the data. I have not figured out yet what are the specific circumstances implying the logging interruption. The CSV export works well, but the output file requires some work before it can be of use due to the date format (US "Month in letters Day, year H:MM:SS AM/PM" in my case) and to the mixture of commas and spaces to separate the fields. It could be better to have coma separated separate fields for year, month (as a number), day, hour (24h format), minutes, seconds, pressure to make the rearrangement of the CSV data file fields easier for anybody. It could imply to have intermediary steps in the application code to convert the date and time format extracted from the system to the format that I propose. Despite these flaws, this is my favorite barometer app.

I absolutely love this app but something clears the whole history every 2-3 days. If that's fixed I will absolutely give a five star.

Since going to 5.1.1 no longer displaying line for measurements on graph - note 4. Now started working again - go figure!

Please add the feature to display units in hPa. METAR information gives atmospheric pressure in that unit. It would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I've been running this app for over a year. The calibration capability helped with the accuracy - it's been reliable and compares to my other weather apps. However, it does randomly dump all data, leaving a blank screen until enough time has passed to fill the chart again. Save early, save often. CVS data xfer via email is clumsy in light of advances in other apps, but this was released "as is". Maybe weather geeks and barometric readings aren't sexy enough to rate a slick app?

Nexus 5, Android 4.4.4. This is a great app, but it can only save pressure values up to a week. I was so disappointed to find out that I lost the measurements for the past 3 months which I was planning to correlate with my quantified-self variables! T_T Feature request: unlimited past value logging.

N70%
by N####:

Seems to work ok, but the bizarre annotation of the x-axis makes it pretty much useless. No dates, just seemingly random times of day stretching back a week. Also, it really could do with longer than a week as a maximum display period.

I like the app but I had to uninstall it after I found that it was causing the accelerometer and other sensors to stop working on my Nexus 5 (4.4. and 4.4.1). It meant screen auto-rotate would stop rotating. Reboot fixes the sensors for a while but I had to uninstall to stop the bug coming back.

The best one compared to all the other barometer apps out there! Just add options to your widget like changing its colors, transperancy, etc. and implement immediate warnings on too quick preassure changes and you could go commercial. Really. I'd buy it.
