I love this app so easy to use and safes time shopping from home

The App could never find my location. Even when Google Maps could find it. It kept saying "error, no GPS signal". Also, the link from the website is not working anymore. Is this App still in use?

Þetta er snilldar app þegar það virkar en það kemur alltaf upp error gluggi þetta app hefur stöðvast og svo ekkert meir og búið að vera svona mjög lengi þess vegna gef ég þessu eina stjörnu en þegar þetta fer að virka þá er þetta klárlega 5 stjörnu app

This little app should be installed on all phones and travellers should take care to use it to check in periodically. If used properly, it will enhance the security of the user by providing emergency services with vital information in times of need. A must-have app for the modern traveller!

This app is a must-have for everyone travelling in Iceland, whether it is backpacking, camping or mountain expeditions. Especially mountain or glacier expeditons! Used correctly it's one of the most important lifesaving devices Icelandic search&rescue teams have.

Best app since the invention of the phone. This one actually saves lives; it does not get better than that!

Used this app while on a trip hiking across Iceland. Enables emergency services to locate you when you call for help, or to trace your past whereabouts when you do not give news. Very little data use making it cheap to run even on a foreign carrier. Highly recommended.

This app uses sms to send the lokation ther for your not paying for data transfer

Great idea, simple. I have only tried check-in but that works well (I hope). Negatives: Will not move to SD memory on my phone (needs 3.2mb internal mem). Really useless help ("?"-button). Given that the target group is travelers in the wilderness, the following should be noted: Large areas of Iceland have poor or no GSM coverage. Use the opportunity while standing on hill tops and such to check-in.

Ég hvet alla sem eru med snjall sima ad fa tetta ! Bjargar lífi fólks !

þurfti að nota appið í dag (sat fastur í sandi) appið klikkaði ekki, neyðarlínan hafði allar upplýsingar um mig og hvar ég var en konan þar sagði mér að hringja bara í dráttarbíl, þar klikkaði línan en appið virkar :)
