I like this app for keeping up to date with my skills. But I would like it to be a bit more interactive. Maybe have 3D views of your ships and manage your skill queue. Even open live chat to your buddies or Corp friends. I would also like to see my hangers. And if you are going that far maybe use the market. I never know when I'll have the time to log in and play. So getting a bit of time to sort out my stuff before I log in would be extremely helpful :) .

It's a vital piece of offline eve communication, however I can go from responsive eve mail to connection error within moments. Having to re-login for characters is annoying as well. Also, not being able to create a new mail unless said recipient is directly saved as a contract needs some attention. As a recruiter a lot of my usage is messaging players that are looking for a corp to join, and eve forum doesn't have pm capability either.

It's a good app. But it doesn't always let me know when skills are done (No biggie). But I wish I could open links in my emails.

Literally doesnt work. Randomly loses characters, wont connect, and when attempting to re add missing chars spits out uncaught json errors. GG CCP

Good job on the connection error. Cannot send mail. I put in name, subject, and message, but it says to fill in all fields.

I had high hopes for this app, but it just doesn't work. It only allows me to add one character and it just gives me non-stop connection errors when I try to view my eve mail or add other characters. The notifications come through fine, but then I can't actually view them when I open the app. Maybe this app should use legacy api keys instead... might actually work then. EDIT: raised to 3 starts cause the app mostly works now, except I get non stop connection errors when trying to load my eve mail.

After the latest update, it will give constant "Connection Error" messages when trying to access different information, but mainly the mail. Thus, it becomes unusable. I have tried deleting my characters and re-adding, deleting the app data and cache, but nothing solves it, so it seems an issue with the app and the backend :( Before the update it was useful to keep track of skill queue, calendar events and, above all, *reply* to mails, which other apps seem to not allow.

I downloaded this app primarily for the ability to read and respond to in game mails. I am still able to do this but I cannot initiate a mail as the "search" button on my keyboard does not search for and allow me to link a character, rather it acts as a spacebar. This is highly annoying and prevents most of the utility prevents most of the utility that I downloaded this app for. Continued support and expansion of this would be nice but would probably result in some sort of nerf. Edit: The primary reason I kept this app, reading and replying to mails, has ceased to function. This app is, not shockingly, mostly useless now due to lack of follow through by the team.

Great way to keep track of your characters skill queue but otherwise pretty bad. Always shows connection error when you try to read a mail and when writing a reply you can't search for characters or link websites or names. Good luck writing a mail even when you get the name right on your own and write a subject and text it will still ask you to fill out missing field

Guys...come...on. This was a great idea in theory. But they havent put the time in to make it work. connection errors galore. Mail doesnt work. Fix what you have in place and add chat function and youve got a damned golden app. Hell most of us would pay for it!

Would love this app if it worked. When it works it's great. The send new mail never worked for me. The constant connection errors wear thin for me as I can't ever check my eve mail, which is one of the premier features of this app. If it worked right, as it did, sporadically, it would be a brilliant app. I love eve and I would love it if this app actually worked as intended.

Although it looks pretty, like everything else that ccp makes, some additional effort to improve core functionality... Emails sometimes don't send, status shown here is ambiguous. Has many annoying bugs and likely will never be upgraded..... Sure looks pretty, though.

Hey CCP. Its an okay app. Needs to be able to send Eve-mail. All fields filled in and it says i need to fill in all feilds. Aside from that ita pretty good. If it can connect to either in-game chat or stream eve radio that would make it a great app. The in game chat would make it a perfect companion app, and the radio stream would make it a pretty radical app. Both would be a sick bonus really.

I would expect the official companion app to a game as old as eve to actually work. I would be wrong. In the week that I've been using it, it has worked for about 10 minutes. During the times it works, it does little more than show you you skill queue or let you buy PLEX (the obvious, singular purpose of the app) which is of dubious usefulness. I would recommend that you don't waste your time on this one.

Connection error, connection error. That is all I ever seen to get. It tells me I have mail, but I'll be damned if it lets me read it. When it works, it's great. But it doesn't work enough.

Fed up with connection error. Have used it since it came out and 99 times out of 100 I get connection error, I would give no stars of it would should! Evanova is far far far better than this junk!

I downloaded this app to use it for the only thing it's really good for, reading my mails. Unfortunately it fails at even doing that. Constant "connection error" that prevents the app from working. I hear there are 3rd party apps that are ten fold better than CCPs. Guess I'll be moving on. My suggestion is to not even bother yourself with it. Update: uninstalling this garbage, go get evanova, much more functionality and actually works!

Connection error throughout. Will access my api and tell me where I am docked and in which ship, Will let me know about skills in queue as well. But when you try to read mail, it won't show the message body, but clears the new mail notifier in game, so you still forget to read messages when logging in. Utterly useless without this functionality working.

This is an OK app from CCP, but I would like more functionality. Showing what skills the character already has, would be a huge help. So would showing open orders. There are other apps that will do this with the api keys, but most are poorly supported/updated.

Constant connection errors while in the app. Needs the ability to see mailing lists in the mail tab. Notifications about skills and mails were nice and quick but I always ended up in a different app to read them.

Frequently has connection errors, and you can't copy mail to the clipboard. Not recommended. Update: After recent patch, app is still mostly unusable. I took another star away, wish I could give it 0/5.

Errors m^3... I can't open any emails. It doesn't track skills live.. just frustrating. Deleted and reinstalled. No changes. No Updates. Looking elsewhere.

would much rather just have eve gate. this app has very low functionality. if they want to make it worth anything they need to add another tab just for skills. that way ppl can see what they have vs what they need. also an idea that would be amazing is the ability to add skills to queue via the app, or eve gate.

It's amazing how often this app fails to work.. have resigned myself to the fact that I'd probably be better off writing my own app for the same purposes, at least then I'd have a shot at some stability.

I've had this app for some time and it worked great. Now however it keeps getting these connection errors and can't show me my eve mail. I hope ccp fixes this soon.

Half finished never fixed. Typical CCP. Release something buggy and it never gets resolved. 8 months nothing resolved. Constant connection error getting emails. Can't even do an app properly whilst 3rd parties do a much better job.

Uninstalled because I'm tired of getting notifications for things that never load, eg. Mail, notifications, skill queue, etc. Always send the phone notifications, but the app never actually updates. My skill queue hadn't updated in months, even after reinstalling twice! I will wait a while. MAYBE WE'LL ACTUALLY HEAR ABOUT SOME DEVELOPMENT INSTEAD OF MORE NEWS ABOUT SKINS AND BROKEN EVENTS?!?!?!

Constant "connection error" message. All of the functionality of the app is really nonexistent with that message constantly coming up, other than buying PLEX and telling you that you got a mail (even though you often can't even read the mail) Until CCP fixes these major issues and possibly adds further functionality, I highly recommend not using this app.

The app no longer works after the new Android update.... just get a constant "connection error" even after I restarted my phone, tried both Wi-Fi and regular LTE internet, the app no longer works... galaxy s7. Please fix it, I used to really like this app.

This app has never worked for me. I always got a connection error when checking emails, couldn't read or see any email, even when I got a push notification that I had one. Furthermore, now when I try to log in, I get a white page that is an error message and I can't go back to the login screen unless I uninstall and reinstall the app.

While it might have potential, it seems unable to connect. I have attempted using with my local wifi and without it. I will keep it installed, but it really falls short of being useful.

Apparently I have no skills in queue and there is a persistent connection error. I assume these two issues are related. As typical of CCP they won't bother to fix anything.

Things I wanted this app to do: Skill queue, notifications, and wallet total. Things this app does well: You can buy Plex! Look elsewhere for a solid Eve app.

Update: So the app began working correctly for all of one week before if completely broke to a totally unusable state. I really wanted this to get better but this is a clear indicator that CCP just doesn't care about their customers at all. If you don't want to keep up with your mobile application then pull it from the play store. All you do is irritate customers and drive them off. Pitiful. Official app has more bugs and errors than 3rd party products. It is one thing to make updates, it is a completely different and unacceptable thing to push updates that break the vast majority of your app. As one developer to another, CCP you are one of the worst I have seen in a good long while.
