حیوه القلوب ( تاریخ پیامبران )

این کتاب یکی از آثار و تالیفات با ارزش علامه ملا محمد باقر مجلسی است که به زبان فارسی نوشته شده است.
حیوة القلوب در قصص و احوالات پیغمبران عظام و اوصیاء ایشان (ص) می باشد و جز کتب اخبار محسوب می گردد.
موضوع این کتاب مستطاب بیان فضایل و کمالات و مناقب و معجزات و تواریخ حالات اجداد گرام و آباء فخام عالی نسب است
و چون مطالعه این کتاب موجب حیوة ابدی دلهای اهل ایمان می گردد آن را به «حیوة القلوب» مسمی گردانیده است.

تاریخ و داستانهای پیامبران وانبیاء

معرفی اجمالی نویسنده:
علامه ملا محمد باقر مجلسی در دار السلطنه اصفهان متولد شد. تولد ایشان در خانواده ی علم و فضیلت و در عصر مرجعیت میرداماد فقیه و فیلسوف نامی اتفاق افتاد. علامه مجلسی در اواسط نیمه دوم سده ی یازدهم هجری و ده سال اول سده ی دوازدهم مشهورترین دانشمند فقیه و محدث نامی شیعه امامی، و شیخ الاسلام اصفهان و سرآمد علمای آن شهر عالم پرور بوده است. علامه سومین پسر ملا محمد تقی مجلسی است که او نیز از مفاخر علمای شیعه است و در اواخر حکومت صفویه با پشت کار فوق العاده و حوصله پر توانش توفیق یافت از راه تألیف و تصنیف کتابها و تدریس علوم و فنون اسلامی و تعلیم و تربیت شاگردان بسیار و اداره امور دینی شیعیان عصر خویش، آن چنان خدمت مثبت و سازنده ای به مردم مسلمان و شیعه ایران کند که هیچ مرجع روحانی دیگری چنین توفیقی نیافته است.
علامه در شب بیست و هفتم ماه مبارک رمضان سال 1110 هـ.ق در اصفهان شهر خود به جهان باقی شتافت. ایشان را در کنار مسجد جامع، پایگاهش و نزدیک خانه اش، جنب پدر علامه اش ملا محمد تقی مجلسی مدفون کردند. آرامگاه او در کنار مسجد جامع اصفهان واقع است.

از مرحوم سيد بحر العلوم علامه طباطبائى نقل شده است كه او آرزو مى كرد كه تصانيف و نوشته هاى خودش در ديوان علامه مجلسى ثبت شود
و به جاى آنها يكى از كتابهاى علامه مجلسى كه ترجمه متون اخبار و به زبان فارسى مى باشد، در ديوان او نوشته شود
و اين بدان جهت بود كه عصر علامه مجلسى عصر شكوفائى دين بويژه مكتب اهل بيت عليهم السلام بود
و علاقمندان به خاندان اهل بيت عليهم السلام رغبت زيادى به آشنائى با تاريخ و آثار اين خاندان داشتند،
ولى چون در آن عصر اكثر كتابها عربى بودند و كمتر كتابى در اين رابطه به فارسى ترجمه شده بود،
از اين رو مرحوم علامه بزرگوار يكى از پيشگامان در اين جهت بود كه آثار و اخبار معصومين عليهم السلام را در قالب تأليفات فارسى بيان كرد
كه از ميان آنها كتاب حياة القلوب بود.
اين اثر يكى از تأليفات نفيس بجاى مانده از علامه مجلسى است ،
كه جلد اول آن درباره پيامبران گرامى عليهم السلام ،
و جلد دوم در احوال پيامبر بزرگ اسلام صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم ،
و جلد سوم آن در امامت مى باشد. و اين كتاب ارزشمند مورد توجه علاقمندان در عصر علامه مجلسى و پس از آن بوده است
بويژه براى كسانى كه خواهان آشنائى با قصص انبياء عظام عليهم السلام و جانشينان آنان و بعضى از قصه هاى مذكور در قرآن ، و آگاهى از سيره سيد البشر رسول گرامى اسلام صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم و وقايع مربوط به عصر بعثت و قبل از آن و همچنين بعد از بعثت تا هجرت و از هجرت تا رحلت آن بزرگوار،
و نيز در جلد سوم مسئله امام شناسى و وجوب وجود ائمه عليهم السلام و آيات درباره امامت مورد توجه قرار گرفته است .
نكته اى كه قابل توجه مى باشد در اين كتاب ،
در برگرفتن تعداد بسيارى از روايات و اقوال مختلف در موضوعات مطرح شده در هر يك از جلدهاى آن ، از اين رو در تحقيق سعى شده است كه از بيشتر مصادرى كه مؤلف آنها را مدنظر داشته استفاده و به آنها ارجاع شود؛
و علاوه بر آنهايى كه خود او ذكر كرده ، در بعضى موارد از مصادر ديگرى استفاده شده كه آن مطالب يا روايات در آنها آمده است چه از كتابهاى شيعه باشد و چه از كتابهاى اهل سنت ، تا بهره بردن از كتاب كاملتر شود.
