Proto.io for Android
It's a good tool for designers. But the accessibility to a project's prototype using internet makes it a bit inconvenient for users. Every time I need to download the project(using internet connection)to show prototype!! Also the transition between screens is too slow.
Overall this tool has great functionality, however the performance really suffers on the Android app compared to the iOS version. If they're able to resolve that, this would easily be a 5 star app.
As a designer for me it helps a lot..
A productive app scoring high on the usability factor.
If there was a way to toggle on/off the persistent Android nav buttons at the bottom, that'd be great. [Edit] I should elaborate, and say that my problem was with my prototype not fitting to the full width of my screen when I viewed it on this android device (Moto X 2014) but it's fine on iOS. I'm left with black bars each side, and like I said it's because of the persistent Android nav buttons. I have used apps that go full screen, so it should be an option here too.
I love proto.io, but my main testing device is Android, and the animations and transitions are slow and lag constantly in one place or another :(
I developed prototype, do not make any changes, I really do not understand why should I pay the whole subscription price to share my app for viewers time to time.
The IOS version is a lot smoother, plus recently the android app closes down all the time, making previews impossible
Finally the missing line that allows you to properly demo your prototype on an Android device!
Wow, very fluid and professional looking. Sync with your projeçts!
Super super
Nice
Great App

The ios version works perfectly but the android version is sluggish and constantly crashes to the point of being unusable. Tested on several phones from S6 down to MotoX and all the same. A good tool tho on ios !!!!
It can seem boggy, but it may just be that it's not quite ready for the S7 lineup yet.
Great app with a lot of potential, but unfortunately isn't good enough. If you switch between apps, it becomes unresponsive. And that's just one problem with the app.
So many errors and bugs make ot very risky to rely on this website to do your project. It might suddenly stop running properly without reason.
Refreshes slowly, makes interactive apps sluggish. Much more usable on desktop. Android not so much
Cannot view any projects
Very useful
While the web interface is amazing, the android app could really use some work, the player itself is quite clunky as it does not automatically fit to your screen. I also still haven't found how to view another screen in the project, which is bad because that should be intuitive. Lastly the icons chosen for some of the actions don't really correspond to the action itself, which can be really confusing. At least you got the material design more or less right, hence 2 stars.
Been using proto for nearly 2 years now. Decided to do a new review as a lot has changed since I started. First off; updates come quite regularly and theres a fairly active community. Also theres quite a few classes available however most of it is quite unnecessary. The ui is very intuitive and you can just dive right in without too much trouble. The two biggest benefits to this tool over others is how easy it is to give to clients as well as design new or redesign existing features. The client can literally download this app and view their app-to-be. Feature design is a breeze. However! There are four drawbacks to proto, which depending on your use case might be deal breakers. It is online only. There is no real conditional logic, currently it is possible to embed some scripts or use the existing framework but its clunky and slow. The Android app is terrible, it would be better to not even let your clients know your building on proto if they will be viewing the mockup on Android. Lastly there is no quick way to get screenshots of every screen on the app, making design documentation a very tedious process. Still though. Very good app to have!
The app installs just fine, but there's no option to log in, which makes it useless.
Great for quick UX Design with a easy to use Interface
This is the best app prototyping product out there. The free version is awesome.
Awesome
Not responsive, lagging
The IOS version is a lot smoother, plus recently the android app closes down all the time, making previews impossible
This app for it all a UX / UI designer looks for.
Doesn't even login on Android.
App always crashes now when trying to open, before update it was fine. Note 3 on Verizon.
The IOS version is a lot smoother, plus recently the android app closes down all the time, making previews impossible
It could be even better with smoother transitions and animations and perhaps more ui controls/stencils !!
Overall I like the player. The key missing feature is to allow you to play a local HTML file of your prototype offline via the player. Seems like a simple add and would be super helpful for in-person demos. The player is sometimes slow to load and the formatting occasionally appears wonky. which offline playback may fix. Generally very useful though!
Time and cost saving. Thank you!

Just downloadeded the app to view a prototype I've been working on but the prototype display on my phone does not fit to my phone's screen display. I have white spaces above and below my prototype while viewing on the app, thought you said it automatically fits to one's phone screen?
