I love my SyncUP I know everything that's going on with my car now even if somebody bumps into it. I highly recommend it. I will be getting another one soon for another car, its awesome!

It's good as long as it sync's up with the servers. I noticed it has long delays relaying the sync data .

F70%
by F####:

It's okay, latest update is causing significant delays... when ignition turns on use to notify in 30 seconds or less. Now it's like 5 to 10 minutes, same thing when trips end. Seems like a silly complaint but was always nice when I remote start my car out of sight to see that it actually turned on or not - especially during Chicago winters. Also I use to like that it would always give a rather accurate estimate about how many gallons of fuel are in the tank at all times in addition to the bars. Now its just the fuel bars with no estimated gallons left. Lastly, I get quite of few false alarms for vehicle disturbance. Car parked in garage and I been in house for hours, and a random notification recieved that the car was disturbed.. by Casper the ghost apparently.

Ive got this on three cars. After a month it git upgraded, we lost connection to two of our cars and the third one shiws it offline. Be to t mobile twice on the phone to customer service still doesnt work. Sitting a a t-Mobile stire now trying again. We'll see!!!

K70%
by K####:

I agree with other reviewers that this app has potential but it's lacking certain obvious improvements. It lacks certain basic features such as deleting the build-up of notifications. The hardware produced by ZTE seems ok but I think this T-Mobile product is headed for retirement soon if they can't get the app up to speed. Now it's making me log in every time. How do you delete a geofence?

K70%
by K####:

I enjoy this product so many features of it. I have it plugged into my work vehicle, but as of the last update the app resets the customizations if the device got to unplug from the vehicle. When the vehicle was taken to the shop for repairs they had to unplug it. When I plugged it back in the name had been reset to new car and all the trips that I had categorized under business had gone back to default.

WiFi in my van is a must for the kids and the free road side assistance is very cool too. It also logged all my trips so I can write that off for work. Let me know when I needed a oil change. I actually making money off of this 10 dollar a month life saver!

K70%
by K####:

Best thing yet!! I'm glad I decided make syncUP Drive a part of my driving experience. I love being able to monitor my cars whereabouts at all times too.

K70%

It really helps a lot, it gives me advance warning if something goes wrong with my car.Keep the good work you guys.Happy Holiday !!

R70%

Works great on my 08 Mazda 3. Not near as much detail as Torque, which gives you EVERY detail, but enough for basic tracking of location, speed, battery, and fuel as well as configuring the ZTE OBDII plug in for wi-fi.

F70%
by F####:

I like it but it doesn't show me my fuel overview or letting me know of my cars issues. My maintenance light came on but the app showed that my car was ok. I took it in to a mechanic and I had to replace some spark plugs...i don't think that this device does EVERYTHING it claims it does.

K70%
by K####:

Great app. I do service work and use it to keep track of billable time. I also go back through the trip history to make sure I haven't forgotten to bill out jobs. Have found several over the last few months that would not have been billed without this device. It's definitly paid for itself!!! Would highly recommend this to anyone who does service work.

So far so good. Some questions I have though. 1. When you finish a trip it automatically makes it a personal trip and you have to make it a business one if you would like. Is there a way to reverse that so it automatically makes it a business trip? 2. Is there a way to have a main account with all devices on it and then sub accounts so employees can track there own device but not see all the other devices. Also it would be great if you could set the Wi-Fi to be on all the time even with the car off. I work out of a parked car.a lot and don't want to always have my car running to get internet.

I've had this for alittle over a year now an still in love with it. Was the best item ever that I bought. I do have one small question n hope u can help. Keeps going off line. An actually had my car driving in the ocean. Any odea.

Good idea for an app, But: Far TOO MANY "disturbance detected" notifications! I'm afraid that one day it will end in a situation like The Boy Who Cried Wolf - the minute I don't pay attention, some Goon will jack with my vehicle! I wonder how TMOBILE'S programmers can get past this one.

K70%
by K####:

Love it! Too many of the bad reviews I have seen tend to be used error. If you simply follow the instructions exactly, it'll be fine. It took me less then 10 minutes to be fully set up. On the first drive, my engine light came on and within 30 seconds I had the error code stating the problem. The hotspot works great, and the features are awesome. Very easy to track mileage for work. Too many benefits not to take advantage of the low price.

I love Sync up because it will let me know what is wrong, mechanical wise. Plus I have a tendency to forget where I parked the previous day, so I look it up and then I find it. It also has Road Side Assistance which is beneficial. Plus much more. I highly recommend Sync up.

K70%
by K####:

Annoying, you zoom into vehicles location and the app zooms back out a second later. Vehicle rarely faces correct direction as it's driving. Sensor just tells you there's a disturbance, doesn't use the gyro to let you know what it think the disturbance was. Not a bad service, $5 a month max. Im paying $10, a bit high if you ask me.

N70%

Wrong place where I parked my car, take to long to get notifications when I start a trip it take 2 - 4 blocks to get the notification. Too many low battery alerts when my battery is fine, it always show me I got 87%of gas even when the tank is full

K70%
by K####:

Slow response to vehicle moving. keeps going offline, then when back online it registered as new vehicle. Even tho u can merge the cars, its just a hassle. Other than that, it great!

J70%
by J####:

Although it works on my 2012 MB 250C, it drains the car battery within several days. This renders it unusable for me. I have read about another MB owner (different model) reporting this problem. The purported solution is to unplug it after use; however, I am not about to go on my knees every time before and after a trip! The Mojio site lists my vehicle as compatible with the device.

A70%
by A####:

Sends me an alert that my battery is going bad but the status shows good. Tells me my gas is low when I have a full tank. Had to update because it's only getting worse! My notifications are not only coming in extremely late, they're out of chronological order! And it's no longer reading my gas correctly.

E70%
by E####:

It usually works. However, I get way too many notifications that there was a "possible disturbance" when I first start my car. I think this can easily be remedied by checking if the user's device is near the vehicle before sending that notification.

P70%
by P####:

Like the features but it sucks the life from your battery. I am removing and return product for refund. What's the point of having it when you constantly have to keep you phone a a charger. Can't even go shopping for 20 min without my phone dying.

K70%
by K####:

Cons: You can read the DTC codes but you can't clear them... Gas gauge and other features are only available on newer cars. Does not work with diesels. Pros: Shows gas milage, driving habits (harsh breaking, acceleration, idle), and battery charge and history. Incredible device for the price! Looking forward to newer features and picking up a second one tomorrow!

C70%

It was working fine until today. It has my car parked somewhere its not and last night I got a disturbance alert but nothing was there. Its just not syncing properly.

J70%
by J####:

Usually works well, though lately have been having issues with it being offline. Hope it updates for more reliable service soon. This is getting very irritating

L70%
by L####:

After a whole year since I got this it has same buggggs!! 1-will not stay zoomed in, it will zoom out automatically. 2-late driving updates. 3-goes offline several times a week. Those are the most annoying ones. Would like to change the notification sound. Samsung galaxy J7 Android 7.1.1 12.06.17 Still same problems, not getting bugs fixed. Maybe they are never gonna update this app any longer?? I don't think they care for it too much.

B70%
by B####:

Takes too long to report that vehicle is moving. I'll drive 5-6 blocks before it lets me know that trip has started. Needs better response time

K70%
by K####:

Lots of network issues lately. Showing car inactive, device status inactive, notifications not sent, not reliable lately

K70%
by K####:

Installed and used device for a month and had one occurrence in which the device reported offline for 24 hours and unable to syncup with car. Today for whatever reason, the app is telling me to sign in. When I attempt, it tells me that my phone number and password don't match and I've made multiple attempts to reset password without success. Tomorrow I'll phone tech support for help. Update: T-mobile Tech Support Syncup Drive Device Department was able to assist me with getting into my account and resetting my password using alternate email address.

It logged me out now try log in and don't remember password try to reset password and it keeps shutting down on me. What happened it was working great until today!!!

I love SyncUP. I would recommend this to everyone. Story Time. My car was stolen one afternoon. I thought my parents borrowed my car without telling me, like they often do, but when I saw them in their room I knew my car wasn't being driven by anyone in my family. I received notifications earlier, but I thought it was just my parents driving my car. We called Highway Patrol and told them that my car was stolen. I knew exactly where the car was and called local Police where the car was. they followed the car and as soon as the paperwork work was done on their end they were able to stop the car in a parking lot and secure my car. My car was stolen a little after noon and I got it back by 4 that afternoon because of SyncUp DRIVE. I was getting sick of being charged an extra 10.00 a month for this service but I don't think I will be complaining about this anymore. This service saved my car. If anyone has any doubts just remember that it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. TL;DR Car was stolen and by using SyncUP DRIVE I was able to tell the Police where my car was and get it back on the same day it was stolen.

I downloaded and installed the app. But after setting up my account, the app says it sends the verification code to my phone number (that i entered correctly) but it never sends it. I have tried new phones (literally brand new phones at thr T-Mobile store, got a new SIM, cleared my text message history. Even signed up for DIGITS so I could get texts on other devices. It is terrible that there is jo alternative to texting a security code and that there is no option in the app to report that it did not work. I will be calling T-Mobile for a service credit for my Sync and probably will return it if they cant resolve this.

If it worked the way it should, it'd be great! First problem I had was right in the middle of the setup process I had to stop because I was at work and didn't have the imei number. After work I opened the app back up to continue the setup and it asks me to login. I typed my email address and password and it said wrong credentials. I tried to reset my password... It said successfully changed... Still wouldn't work. I took it to t-mobile and actually had to use a friends phone number to get it to work... Pain in the ass.

A70%
by A####:

When it's working properly it's awesome. For some reason it is missing all info since oct. 12th? No easy sync button so I'm more then likely going to have to reset the whole thing. :(

Z70%
by Z####:

Many problems with the app, me and my friends tested them with different cars, it will show more MPG than what your car is actually doing, also the max RPM it's lower than what it actually was, if the car gets bumped or something you don't get the notification for a couple minutes or so.

K70%
by K####:

It's keeps going offline, it's says trip completed when I'm at light. Someone hit my car thee other day i didn't get a disturbance then ?? It doesn't say where the car is. It's really bad. Sometimes I can't even connect to the wifi

K70%
by K####:

I dont like the new terms and conditions. Way to invasive and questioning why Allstate has jumped in on this because we all know its not out of the kindness of their heart. RPM's are very inaccurate as is speed only real info you get is where it traveled and if someone tampers with your car you get a notification 1 minute later.

Great Distant leaving home to work. How long it took to drive. Due to traffic. Disturbance record awesome. I love product and app. As anyone tried road service yet?
