Mojio Cloak for Android
Simply plug your Mojio device* into your car’s diagnostic port, and Cloak will keep track of your car’s location at any time, from anywhere, and will alert you anytime it moves. Cloak always knows if your car is safe. Now you will too.
*The Mojio suite of apps require the Mojio 3G+GPS device (includes one year of cellular service). Learn more at www.moj.io
Cloak gives you peace of mind by:
• Alerting you if your car is being stolen
• Tracking your car’s location in real-time if it is being stolen or towed
• Monitoring your car’s location while someone else is driving (friends, family and co-workers)
• Communicating with your Mojio device via a 3G cellular connection, so you aren’t limited by bluetooth, data usage concerns or your phone’s battery
With your Mojio device plugged in, you can take advantage of the features offered by the growing ecosystem of connected car apps developed on Mojio’s open platform.
Much better now after latest bug fixes. Want it to support more features like geo fencing, etc. Does core function well.
I bought a mojio to give me piece of mind that my car is safe. During the past day of using the cloak app, it keeps loosing connection with my car (upon checking the cloak app at 2-3 hour intervals it indicate that I don't have a mojio registered) forcing me to log out and back in again (at which point my mojio shows up again). I don't trust that the alert notifying me if my car is being stolen will work. Please get it together and fix this buggy app! Otherwise it's beautiful.
Does not use Google maps; often fails to fully render maps; map has poor details (POIs); can't easily zoom; crashes. Why no trip history? Really not that useful. I use the tiny map in their Gauge app instead - at least it consistently renders.
The alarm doesn't always go off when the car is moved. There needs to be a tracking history to show where the car has been in case the connection is lost by the device or your phone so you will have a general location where the car was last. The maps could be a little more detailed like Google maps. The device doesn't need a light on the front of it. The light looks good but it makes it easier for thieves to spot. Other than that, it is a good start.
I like how the screenshots are from the iPhone version...

Pretty OK, works fairly well. Weird issues with random login prompts. Really annoying that if you only have one vehicle you have to keep selecting it, just default to the only car. Update: app now totally broken, says have no vehicles but when I try to add says it's already added. Reinstalled app, still broken.
