Changing initial review. I had a problem and wrote to loot customer services who were very helpful. App works great now!! Finger print would be a welcome feature tho.
The app is now great with hardly any bugs. I think fingerprint should be a priority...

Unlike Monzo you cannot use this app in rooted phones. Even the HSBC and First Direct apps work on rooted phones, no excuse.
Love the concept of this app... looking forward to the new features... categorisation will be super useful.

I definitely live the app. Can't wait for the release. By the way I've just erased everything in my phone and so the app got cancelled as well. Then I've re- downloaded it but now I can't sign in because I get an error "your phone is rooted" but actually it isn't. Do you guys know what I should do ?
Absolutely love the app, can't wait until all the features are released! Could really be improved it a finger print sign in was added. Never seen a contactless payment processed so quickly! By the time I've put my card in my wallet I get a notification of what I have just spent
Downloaded it because my partner is using it and find Loot very useful but it doesn't work on my phone. Keep saying I'm not connected to the internet or some sort of error.
Got this mainly to use abroad because of the no fees. First transaction was at Dubai airport which has messed up charging me 28 sterling rather than 28 in the love cal currency. I'm told this will he fixed in "a few weeks" meanwhile I'm short the 20 odd quid. Not suggestive of a reliable or professional product
Well I'm excited sign up was piece of cake and received my card within 7 days as promised loaded some money on it from my bank account it was there within less than an hour now just have to try it out so far impressed very easy as others have said if you just make signing into the app via fingerprint available this is top notch and what's cool is the first 2 Atm withdrawals are free every month if in an emergency you did need to take out cash others charge Upton £1.50 a shot for this so this is excellent stuff and being able to set goals is a brilliant Idea Thank You
Good app and great idea, biggest downside is logging into the app. Often asks for email and password rather than just the password. Could really do with Touch ID sign in.
This is a brilliant idea but would be better if when logging in you could use pass code or touch ID

I can't even sign up...I enter all the correct details but the "GO" button doesn't do anything. Don't have access to support without signing up...

Great app! Only thing is, I sent money from my bank account to top up the card about 12 hours ago and it's still not there? Doesn't fill me with too much confidence
Android App showing data fetch error after updating this evening, can't see what's missing but there's clearly a glitch somewhere. Other than that this account is excellent, no issues using it at all. Update 09/02/2017 - errors now sorted so amended to five stars. Can highly recommend this as a means of simplified e banking if you want to avoid the high street banking crooks.
I can't use the app as it won't let me past the ID check stage. While the chat people have been very helpful, apparently this can't be bypassed, so it means I can't use the app at all because their software can't verify my selfie against my passport. Edit: After notifying them that I was going to leave the app, they sent me a patronising Batman meme and didn't make any attempt to rectify the situation. This is obviously customer service intended for 12 year olds...
I have to enter my email address and password every time I open the app. Why not just the password?
Didn't even get past the first identity checker because I've changed what I look like since I was 16 when the photos on my ID's were taken, there is no way around this apparently when talking to the assistant's.
I can't even reset my password as I forgot it...
I want to cancel my account I just made it but actually don't want it how do I do this?

Don't know what everyone is moaning about i applied in five minutes or even less like it says. I received my card in like 5 day and i cant wait to use it. App works fine perfectly might i say. Love the live chatroom to ask questions nice touch. This is the best money managing app on the market in my opinion. The service, the useability, contactless. Please my one piece of advice ive heard now from several sources that the app monese is not safe and money seams to go walkies.
Logged into the web page and it said I was around 7000th in the queue...when I clicked to open my account from the 'account ready' email all the haters are talking about, and opened with the app, rather than my browser, I was able to register and am now receiving my card in 7 days. Obviously there are some lags...it's a brand new start up...feel the low reviews are harsh especially seen as most of them haven't even got a card yet.
Just signed up, nice slick app, sign up is easy. Few things that could be improved: - fingerprint reader unlock - pin to unlock instead of whole password - look towards Android Pay© integration
Doesn't work in singapore. Just tells me my address is incorrect
I cannot see any of my card transactions. All the app shows is money in and money sent.
Well it said my card is ready..... signed up! Verified who I am nice and easy now let's wait for the card. I'll be using this as well as monzo

So I can't set up a pin for the app, can't use a fingerprint, I can't change the pin on my card, I have contacted customer service twice and have had no reply to either. I have d an unauthorised transaction and nobody standing behind it willing to help. If problems aren't sorted ASAP I'll be getting my money off this unfortunately. Bummer because I love the idea. Also my card won't work on the tube currently???
