Children’s Act and Regulations

The South African Children’s Act (No. 38 of 2005) is a comprehensive piece of legislation that seeks to afford children within the borders of South Africa the necessary care, protection and assistance to develop to their full potential. This mobile application presents the Children’s Act, the Regulations and Forms in a digestible digital format and seeks to make the legislation widely accessible to professionals in the field and lay people alike. The intended use of this application is for informational and reference purposes.
The development of this application was commissioned by the South African Department of Social Development and funded by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development.
