HOTEL TOTAL

The HOTEL TOTAL APP is a digital urban travel guide through the City of Aachen and its surroundings. It supports tourists, newcomers, migrants and inhabitants themselves exploring their homeland. The app was built within the scope of HOTEL TOTAL und with support from a lot of great people in its environment.

HOTEL TOTAL is a pop-up hotel, opening doors for three months in summer 2016. Its guests will spent the night under the ceiling of a former church in which cubes, serving as rooms have been installed. The whole project has been driven in cooperation with designers and developers, refugees and unemployed, a whole lot of love and a little drop of sweat to realize a three girl’s vision of a place to be for the curious and active in the city of Aachen.

Following the vision, the HOTEL TOTAL APP is not exclusively designed for Hotel guests or tourists in general, but for anyone willing to explore Aachen in an active way. Every spot or location has been chosen by a subjective sense and are therefore favorites of the authors.
Aside a hotel-tour, a digital Concierge and information concerning Hotel, rooms and their design, the app provides:
• Tours to explore the City of Aachen and environment by bike, bus, feet or being thirsty
• a QR-Code tour where you can gain gimmicks and specials
• a picnic basket delivery service (you got it right!)
• selected bars and restaurants
• sports and wellness offerings
• forthcoming events
• fashion
• a lot more..

The presented spots and locations have not been chosen by any commercial incentive but by affair of heart.
