Javvy - Learn to code in Java! for Android
Programming is nerdy, boring and grey... This makes learning fun with colour... I wish it was like that in my day! (learning basic and C++)... I'm not a nerd anymore... This is a great app!
Tricky Bastards! They make you addicted and than you have to pay. However, have tried countless apps. This is definetely the best and money well spent!
Education should be given free, specially these preliminary things. Fully worst app ever. I m very very disapointed, just imagine a poor student who wants to learn java, and he doesnt have that much money to unlock all the courses. please do not trade with education.
Been using this app to learn the basics of Java for a bit and I love it. It's very easy to use and the app does a great job of explaining things. It is an overall great learning tool.
I don't complain about updates on free apps but seeing as how I've paid twice for this app once on Android and again on my IPad, until the Android Version gets the same update as the Apple version it's 2, then it'll probably be a 5.
Pros: 1.Great didactic teaching method 2.Interactive 3.Not boring Cons: 1.It's a paid educational app(that's why the 4 rating stars) 2.no multi-language support, especially Dutch 3.no auto rotate support, especially for the people with a tablet
I'm doing CS for AP testing without taking the class, and this is getting me from Javascript to Java nicely! But, in one part it says "if(x <= 6)" when it means to say "if(a <= 6)"
Incredible! I already knew some basics however, so that did help me. Great for any body learning code - Java also pays very well
Bought the full course for $2, not bad for an interesting & comprehensive tutorial P.S. saw the app hasn't been updated in awhile, please keep active and don't disappoint your fans
Simple and nice app, filled with lots of staff and quizs about Java. But check 8-10. Two times word "her".
I think it's really well done although having a compiler so we can mess around inside of the app would be nice.
The vocabulary can get confusing is would be nice if you could tap on the colored words and get a definition, otherwise I love the app.
Useful for beginners or just brushing up! But I wish devs were as active on native Android version as they are on their iOS products...
Terrible. Another app I'm told to waste my money on.
Very Interactive app, l like the way color was integrated, makes me want to learn more without getting bored. loved it ☺
Amazing I fully supported this app. You can buy the full course with about five bucks. Or ten for all the extras. Worth it!
Needs more chapters. Data structures and algorithms would be cool to incorporate.
Pls make more payment options as I am having issues paying with my credit card.
Freezes ever time I open it
I like that it's to the point and tries not to go over the user's head with giving info from a fire hose.
This app really grabs my hand and hold it through my Java learning journey. Pretty sweet. Good job to the developers.
can't access most the lessons because i don't have facebook
Good, free, accessible way to learn java. Wish it were more tablet optimised, it doesn't support landscape.
It takes you step by step it's fabulous!! One of the few apps I would happily pay for
I liked it until it notified me that I would have to pay to work past the first two lessons.
A melhor app que encontrei para aprender java. Perfeita!
After 2 blocks (VERY SIMPLE BLOCKS),you need to pay. Sorry, uninstalling...
Best way to learn Java. Offers great tips and techniques and easy to use and follow
Overall a great app to learn Java . If u too wanna learn Java then download it now.

Great informational app. Hope they add something to it looks practical examples we can work on. Though that does sound difficult thinking about it. But it does what it says it does. I don't regret the buying the upgrade
