About Gridle Productivity App.
Gridle is one platform available across devices to communicate tasks, share files, have video conferences and do chats within teams, around projects and on-the-go so you can stay on top of your priorities, improve productivity and enjoy the finer things in life; in essence, it brings together all forms of communication possible today on the internet on one cloud based platform so our customers have just one place for their content, context and colleagues across web and mobile.
As it turns out, when you have just 1 place to go to work, productivity ends up increasing; by 13-19%.
Here are the features:
Task Management:
NLP:
The task-creator is WYSIWYG editor and is smart enough to understand your natural language. Try “@stacy: Need marketing report on my desk by 3 pm tomorrow #productlaunch” and it will understand the assignee, deadline, subject and project.
Subtasks & Recurring Tasks:
The purpose of Gridle is to improve productivity. Sub-tasks allow breaking tasks into smaller chunks and Recurring tasks allow tasks to occur after specific duration like week, month or quarter.
Conversations, Activity Log & Mentions:
While you are completing or working on a particular task, all the people who are a part of that task can have a conversation through comments as well. An activity/Audit log is maintained and you can tag specific people through @mentions.
Statuses & Files in Task:
You can assign custom statuses to your tasks so you don’t have to ask around where’s a task at. “Stuck”, “Complete”, “Not-started” etc. Also, you can share files and do versioning from your local computer, Dropbox, Drive or Box as well.
Project Management:
Task-lists:
Public projects allow for the task-list to be viewed by everyone so it is easier to identify the bottlenecks and always stay on top of the upcoming priorities. In-case a project is private, everyone can still say on the same page without seeing other task-lists.
Project-Chats:
A media rich group chat which allows all the people who are a part of project to have instant conversations and discussions; share feedback, videos and interact quickly to make decisions and arrive to conclusions. Giphy also makes it fun!
File-repository & Analytics:
Certain assets that are common and to be shared across the project can be kept safely in one place along with their versions. Analytics allows the project lead to make informed decision on retrospective data; analyze & identify top-performers and execute quicker.
Integrations & Events:
Weekly stand-up meetings and updates can be created and stored along with Minutes of meetings. Also, project can be integrated with services like Pivotal Tracker, Github, Zendesk and many more team based, niche and cloud applications on request at no cost.
Chats:
Forms of chat:
You can have one-one, one-many and one-project level chat. The chats are media rich so you can share videos, files and other links directly in-line. All the project level integrations throw alerts right here in the corresponding project-level chat.
Alfred:
Everyone deserves a personal assistant and Alfred is just that. He drops you a mail every morning with your daily agenda and reminds you of all the things you should be working on depending on your work-load. Sometimes, he also gives funny replies!
Mentions & Video calls:
You can tag specific people through @mentions in all forms of chats. Mentions throw out a special notification and can be used to get immediate attention of corresponding individuals. You can also start a video call for up to 8 people directly through chat as well.
Search:
Gridle has built in elastic-search which allows quick search for all the people who are a part of that chat. It identifies phone numbers, times and links separately so, in case, you have shared important contact information or coordinates, you can quickly reach to them without multiple clicks in the chat room.
There's a lot more coming up! Check out the app.
by D####:
Nice app, very user-friendly. The only problem I found is that comment features are not responsive when I'm using the app in my smartphone. A bit hassle to have the need of opening my computer just to view and respond to short comments. Nevertheless, it's a great app.
