FamilyTime Parental Controls & Screen Time App

Love it... Technology today has turned about of our kids into entitled assholes... N this is our great equalizer... Thank God... I do wish for more features that would give us more power over their apps... N a better tracking system... Also would like to not have to block their entire settings to stop them from removing the app... (bypasses the password needed that way)

Great app. Kids these days think that they automatically have the right to a phone and the freedom to write and talk to whomever. Nope, not in my house. Not till you're an adult paying for your own services. Until then if you want a phone, I will monitor everything you do or say on it. Thank you for this app.

It's great except that my kids are able to uninstall the kids app with ease and no notification. I had to try and hide it, but, these are teens and it's not like they won't be able to find it if the want. Short of threatening them, I don't see what will prevent a kid from uninstalling it and saying it was an "accident". Also, I don't like that when the phone is locked down they can't call or text certain people. We should have the option to make exceptions to who they can contact during lockdown hours. Everything is all or nothing. That I can't stand and have to have a backup parental app just to cover all bases. I want to fully love it, especially for the yearly cost, but there are things that need to be improved. This is the short list.

My younger kid's mobile addiction really affect on his school grades and I was very worried that how to take control his mobile addiction. Family time app helped me to take control on his mobile. Now I can block gaming apps on his mobile whenever I want. Seriously a good app for me.

Good app that has a stronger foothold with features on the Android platform. Very informative though on iOS due to Apple restrictions not the same functionality you would get versus Android. Good app with great potential once the Apple restrictions are lifted (if ever). Support was fantastic and speedy with cool in app chat feature (every app should have this capability). Look forward to seeing where this app goes in the future.

I like the app but it is not as easy to set up and maneuver through as some similar apps. I love the ability to manage my kids usage which is why I choose this app over another similar app that doesn't have that feature.

Find difficulty at the start of using family app but their customer service agent Rick gives me better understanding of using family time app. Their daily limit usage option is phenomenal and mind blowing. Excellent app for parents.

This is one of the best apps of this type that I have tried. Very simple interface and does exactly what it says it will do. It installed on several devices seamlessly - which I cannot say about one from a large well known security company. It works as advertised.

I'm very passionate about familytime app. I have heard a lot about the app from my friends but now impressed with the quality of features and functionality. Limit screen time functionality is the best thing to restrict your kids from excessive screen usage.

Phone locator option guided me to locate my kids location perfectly. This app is really a great blessing for woried parents. So far very nice experience.

I was looking for a Parental Control App for my 9 yrs son and as I researched this is the best one that you can have it for a Trial Time and see if it meets your needs or not. Customer service is great and I'm sure they work on this App to make it a great App for today and always...

It's a great app to control my son's phone access to the internet and apps. Very user friendly and sync almost instantly. It can also send notification when my son reached and left his school. Great and prompt tech support too. Highly recommended.

The chat feature is very helpful. I got immediate respond to my questions. The app would be perfect with the adult content blocker for android though. Let me know when it will be available? I really need that for the boys

This app has some magnificent features and working very smoothly on my kid's note 5. I can limit his screen whenever I want. The best digital parental app I have ever used.

The iOS devices only get half of what the android devices are offered. Call history, contacts, and web history are not supported or provided. On homepage it says “say hello to effortless digital parenting that is easy, fun and 100% effective” is not even near accurate. The app can be uninstalled by the child in iOS. Mobile geo-fencing and location tracking is sporadic, and most of the time inaccurate and ineffective. Our daughters phone still showed at home even though she is sitting in front of us. thus app is so backwards. It shows our location, but not the one we want to monitor? This app DOES NOT offer the monitoring features expected such as monitoring calls, and SMS and internet activities or contacts, that is offered with Android. Most tech savvy parents can setup their child’s iOS phone with the same restrictions without the use of this worthless app. All this app does is use the phones already included features to restrict the child’s use. If your child has an Android it may be worth the $27 per year fee plus the hassle of discontinuing the service. It is easier to cancel a subscription with SiriusXM satellite radio that took me 3 months of dealing with than dealing with FamilyTime's customer service. Three day trial is a joke. App seems to be designed to work fine during the trial period, then as soon as they charge the credit card . . . The only part of app the isn’t built in “tracking “ no longer works. Refund - don’t count on it. So disappointed because Kim Komando has this listed as a good option for parental control. Wish I had followed the advice of the other reviewers. Lesson learned.

So far, this application has helped us to provide safer boundaries for our son in regards to screen time. Thank you for creating this useful app!

Would be a 5 star if they had an option to bill mobile carrier instead of using cc info!!

I like that this app can be used for both Android and Apple devices as my kids have one of each. Lots of useful features for busy parents

Awesome way to set parameters for children's use of screen time, track their whereabouts, and once it's set you only have to adjust when needed. Very easy.

The app is great if your kids don't delete it. I have installed this app over 6 times already. The support is excellent. You get immediate assistance.

Awesome, now able to slow down time on social media and limit daily phone time limit.

Just have it on trial for 2 days. I like the Limit Screen Time Access control and App Blocker features.

I like this app but I don't have an option to buy and my subscription is up.
