You can file issues on the github page, contributions are always welcome!

Comment count issue:

This is due to hacker news sending back the total parent comment count through their API, this is a technical limitation from their end. The true comment count is shown when you drill into a story. Sorry about this!

The first app i used that allows me to either share comment link or article link! This is important. I go back and deduct 1 star because whwn you hit back button to see list of articles, it starts off loading every time. It'd be much better if the app can cache it. This wastes time.

S70%
by S####:

UX is great, but most times that I go back to read a post I had open, the app refreshes then I have to remember what it was I was looking at, then spend time finding. Please fix that, then it's perfect

Great app! I like how comment folding works, the colored borders showing comment depth are awesome idea! I would love a history tab, where all HN threads that I actually clicked would be preserved, that would be absolutely neat!

U70%

It's okay, but it does crash a bit more than id like. And you can't login (and thus can't vote or add comments). Looks nice though.

S70%

The font size of titles is too big IMO. Need a better icon also. (Do something with the shades)

But why is there no option to login?

Amongst other things I have been looking for a reader that actually lets you open the link in browser. So don't get rid of that. Good stuff!

This app is the only app I am able to use for HackerNews without going slightly insane. Comment arrows are a big example of a feature that can't be found in any other HN app. There are a few bugs, though. Namely: links don't show up in comment sections.

D70%
by D####:

Does anyone else have problems with seeing the links? To me they are all white on a white background...

Open source, free, and doesn't require permissions, but lacking ability to login

Nice app with a clean interface. Hyperlinks aren't showing up for me. The text color matches the background color. I can still click them, but not see them. I'm on a Nexus 5X on Marshmallow

D70%
by D####:

I can only read comments, not write or reply to them. Design is pretty good though, and most importantly it handles HN links opened from other apps.

So slow it was unusuable. 11 comments still hadn't loaded in 11 seconds.

N70%
by N####:

That's the app I'm most comfortable with. The usability can be imroved if the screen returned the same scroll position the user was at when clicking "Back" arrow. Other stuff is good and convenient. Would like to see "Ask HN" category in the menu one day. These two remarks do not make me like this app less. Five stars!

But why is there no option to login?

N70%
by N####:

Nice design. Allows you to jump to top level contents which is super helpful. Would appreciate a long press option to go to the comments/open link. Remember that this isn't a client with login support.
