Storyboard

Helps with keeping characters (the good and the bad) together but also separate. Each character has their own voice. I love to use to pencil/pen and paper, but this is a good way to keep chapters separate until you figure out where everything and everyone belongs in your story. Don't ever give up writing. I won't! Writing is one of many of my passions! Soon, my novel will be out there for the world. Definitely take the time to use this app. It truly helped me and I know it will help you. (Give it a chance!!!)

Even if you just have a few 'art illustrations' but absolutely no Storytelling skills. (( My Grade school English and Art Teachers, abhor the idea of trying to design a comic book.)) = Download this app, and just type a few details. --- Yeah, I was THAT teenager who got to design a deck of PLAYING CARDS for a Rennesaince Faire Festival, and worried that 'spending a credit card' to make multiple copies was going to find an audience. (You're taking a chance at something.) The worst thing to happen, is being thought of as some Mad Lunatic that must be silenced... But it's better to get your words outside in order to have peace of mind !!!

Bad use of screen real estate. Needs redesign. Fields usually invisible behind keyboard. Return key quits app.

Would be great if the lower text boxes weren't blocked by the keyboard.

A good companion for the beginning author

I absolutely adore this app! It is incredibly helpful for me, especially with being able to keep track of my characters as well as details I need to keep track of for my stories. However, to make it a 5 star worthy app there are some things I would love to be included! One thing is that I would like a gallery, or photo section, to be added for characters (or one picture is perfectly fine!) As well as having their appearance written down, it would be wonderful if I could upload an image so I can see a visual representation of them. (It would be super handy for those users who love drawing like I do!) Another thing is I would like to add a book cover to the front, so the books aren't just blank boxes with the name displayed. This is purely for the aesthetic, though... it works perfectly without! The last thing is that your keyboard can block text boxes that are lower down the page... it would be perfect if they appeared above your keyboard whenever you type, instead of remaining in place. (I have sorted this by connecting my tablet to an external keyboard I have for it, but when I used the app on my phone I found it to be a slight problem...) If those few things were added, I'd definitely give 5 stars! Thank you! :) EDIT: One last thing that would be cool is if you could have it synced across devices. I use the app purely on my tablet (as it's a larger surface to work on and I have an external keyboard for it) but if I'm out and about and need to add something small that I've thought of I'd love to be able to use my phone... and have it sync to my tablet when I have Internet. That would be awesome (instead of maybe having to keep 2 separate versions of the app, which I'm not prepared to do for obvious reasons... lol)

Just curious, why does it need full network access? I have trust issues when it comes to my ideas.

Need a way to export the whole story plan instead of copy/paste.

This app would be perfect if it didn't require access to information it doesn't need. That's one of my biggest peeves, or I'd rate five stars, no contest . I do recommend this app otherwise, though, especially for planners -- the beat sheets and outliner are especially awesome features!

Once I'm in the app, there's no way to exit completely without restarting my phone. Not useful when I'm trying to switch between this and other apps.

As a writer it's helpful for me to no have those author's block when I forget some scene just check this app and my mind got back to its senses

I rather enjoy this app and the potential it has to improve my writing. My only concern is the fact that lower text fields are occluded by my keyboard. This makes it difficult at times to edit text since I'm typing blind. If fixed, I would certainly rate 5 stars!

It's simple and helpful for structuring fiction stories. The only thing that prevents me from giving five stars is it asked permission to get access to things it has nothing to do with (contacts, identity, change audio setting, etc). Why?

Deleted my whole entire story.
