Why the ACFE SA chose to develop the ACFE SA Mobile application:
One of the ACFE SA’s main focus is to create awareness across the country and all over the world in the fighting and prevention of fraud and white collar crime.
The main reason why the ACFE SA developed the mobile app, was to make it more sufficient to members by providing the opportunity to access information regarding the ACFE SA & services.
ACFE members are found all across SA. The ACFE SA also administer chapters in other African countries. The mobile application provides the ACFE SA with the opportunity to reach all delegates in a much quicker way.
The ACFE SA focuses on the following:

Regulating all members forming part of the Professional body;
As the Professional Body for the Forensic industry in SA, the ACFE SA has an obligation to the public and industry to regulate, and where necessary discipline its members. In terms of this regulatory obligation, members must at all times adhere to the values of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, applicable legislation and the law in general, as well as the Code of Ethics and the Professional Standards as set by the ACFE.
Ensuring all CFE’s obtain their CPE points annual required, by offering training;
The ACFE requires all active CFE’s to complete 20 credit hours of CPE for every 12-month period.
On the mobile app information regarding the upcoming events will be uploaded to ensure members are up to date with future events (venue, time, date, & contact details) and will have the ability to register online.
The application will also offer all CFE’s to upload their CPE points to ensure they reach and are able to track their 20 CPE points annually.

The ACFE SA host an Annual African Anti-Fraud Conference each year, where delegates from all over the world come together. The ACFE SA need to ensure all have access to the information about the event, program & changes.
With this application we hope to streamline the registration process, keeping track of delegates attending the training offering, keep delegates updated with sessions and presentations, issue CPE points per session with the use of QR codes, and gather statistics on evaluation of sessions.
Marketing & Communication:
The ACFE SA sent every month a newsletter out to members keeping them updated of what is happening in the ACFE SA and forensic industry.
We also provide members with the opportunity to advertise their professional service to other members by advertising service providers on the application. With this we hope to improve the quality of investigations & access to service providers easier should there be a need for their skills.
