Instrument Tuner Pro for Android
Best runner on Google Play Store! I tried all of them! This works the best... I give it 5 Stars...
Very handy and accurate. Wish I could add my own temperaments.
I use this regularly tuning the electric piano to the pipe organ.
Seems perfect to me.
Couldn't pick up the lowest and highest ranges. Ended up using AP Tuner for Windows.
I love the fact that I can do violin and other instruments so I don't have to tune improperly
Use it a lot (daily) on my (vintage) Galaxy sIII (for violin), no errors or nasty surprises of any sort, clean interface. Even that squeaky "E" I put on the other day did not give the pitch finder any trouble (my ears coldn't stand it though :) ) Nothing else to be said. The only addition/improvement I can think of is an implementation of relative tuning where you play an A for it to find relative string pitches to tune to (Maybe I'm being lazy and unreasonable but it would help my confidence as a learner)
I tried lots and this is the best I found. Great algorithm picks up my cello better than any tuner i have ever tried.
This simple application is one of the very few tuners that features a usable stretch setting for most pianos. I'm not sure it would work for all pianos but our Yamaha G2 happens to be fine using the "mean" stretch setting. Also, the application seems to be able to respond to even very low notes on the piano, whereas most other apps "give up" in the lowest octave (using same device). The indicator takes a split second to focus on the note, but is well-averaged so that it's much easier to read once centered.
Does what supposed to.
I am quite happy with the free version, but I'm fed up with using chromatic, so I wanted to add my instruments. It said pay up so I did. But it doesn't let you add instruments, it let's you select from an extremely limited list of instruments (maybe ten in total, not many). Refunded, but would buy if I could add my own instruments.

The most reliable, customizable, and accurate tuner. Just get it if you're a musician. A really valuable tool.
