Multilanguage Keymap Redefiner

I got a rooted device and tried many remapping apps on the store before, every app had issues here and there. But Multilanguage Keymap Redefiner is just awesome, it does the job. Finally I'm able to play Bully and many other Games with my Asia USB Gamepad and my proper DS4 one. I have no clue why you abandoned this project, its a great one and deserve to keep alive! Feel free to offer a payed version too, we would like to support.

Downloaded so I could configure my controller to War Robots. Did the job well. Only complaint is no joystick adjustments (would like mine more sensitive), otherwise a way to map keys to certain spots/touchscreen buttons would be nice. But I don't expect such fanciness. Highly recommend.

Fix the input lag, as far as I know its not a problem with my Ps4 controller as it works perfectly on everything else. When I'm using the thumbsticks it lags for 3-5 seconds and keeps scrolling. I'm using it to play Minecraft PE. Please fix this. I don't have root and won't be able to root, so as of now this is the only app that can help.

I love this app! I have been using Multilanguage Keymap Redefiner for a while now, and it works great as I work with three languages and type exclusively with a physical hardware keyboard in Android. However I work with several Android devices, and am having trouble getting the hardware keyboard to switch between language layouts on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 running KitKat (I know, old technology). I have set MKR as my default input, and added the languages I wanted to toggle between, but when I press CTRL+Space Bar, the onscreen keyboard switches languages but the hardware keyboard stays as the layout for the system language (English Canada in my case). Is this a bug, or is there something I'm not doing correctly?

Every one says they lose the signal in every 5 sec. It is not the signal. It is the app. It does the same when O'neill typing. I can type 3 words without getting any feedback from the keyborad. Than I wait a few seconds and its boom there. It does the job but because of this lag or whatever is this, I have to shay that it is useless. I can't use my phone because of this app, it does the same with the whole system. S8+ Not rooted

after purchasing a BT keyboard for my tablet, I've been trying to find a way to type in my preferred keyboard layout (A mirrored Dvorak variant with rearranged symbols for easier programming). This app has allowed me to map out the my layout so that I can touch type the way I'm used to doing it (and, frankly, the superior way :3). However, I can't fully map out my programming variant. To do so would require me to change everything about the layout from top to bottom, including all the different shift-states for the "number" keys, as well as custom Alt-Gr keys. The app is simple to use, which is great, But, if you're like me and your needs are not so simple, then this app may not deliver everything you're looking for. Aside from that, the rest of the app seems to work just fine. :D I'll be happy until I can figure out a more exhaustive solution to my problem.

This would be EXACTLY what I need to remap my generic SNES controllers 4 buttons that send key codes to my tablet but each one is 0 (so they all do nothing).....but every 5 or 7 seconds whatever button I'm pressing hangs and is stuck for several more seconds. If that didnt happen this would be 5 stars easily!

The perfect app but only one downside. PLEASE FIX THE DELAY. I have been using this for games with a ps4 controller and it works but the delay ruins the gameplay. Please find a fix for this because it is the only app like this.

Wants me to replace my Samsung Keyboard with this app. Not going to happen.

It's good but Why, why u didn't add Bengali Language in this list of 10 languages??? Plz add it. It's not only my language it's international mother language too

Please include the pc keyboard's arrow keys. I need it so badly. I hope there will be an update soon

It is a very much need app, but missing some keys. My hardware bluetooth does not have curly braces { } which are needed to write computer programs. I am unable to add these keys. So it is not useful for me till these keys are available.

Not sure why, it does work on my Bluetooth controller. However when I go and text on my phone. It just says it stopped working. (Nexus 5 rooted 6.0.1 with non conflicting Xposed modules)

This app worked precisely as advertised. I'm docking it one star, though, because it advertises support for Android TV devices but doesn't present an Android TV-friendly on-screen keyboard, instead reverting to a basic phone keyboard. I would love to use this app on my Shield to remap the buttons on my remote, but this flaw makes that a non-starter.

The UI is a bit hard to follow because there are sooo many options, but I highly recommend this apps usefulness. The fact that it can re-map each device individually is a massively useful feature! If I had one complaint about the app, is that it gets distorted when i use screen scaling (to correct overscan issues)

I'm using this to remap DS4 buttons and testing with Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Remapping was fine when I understood how to do it, and the remaps actually worked without issue. Unfortunately I lose input for ~1 second every ~5 seconds. Maybe an application priority issue, not sure.

Remapped my Logitech MX 5000 keyboard to use as a game controller. Not sure why, but since I've installed the app there are now some serious lag issues, from using the app itself to remap keys to the use of the keyboard as a game controller or as an input method for the phone such as typing right here. When you tap to add a new keybinding, it often halts there for a few seconds and then scrolling up & down the list of possible bindings you see the lag there too. Fix this and you've got a great app!

I'm using this with my shield TV and C120 air mouse. The air mouse's back button does not work so I remapped menu to back. The vol + & -, and back all do not register keypresses in keymap, even though volume keys do controll volume. Only down side is cannot use button remaps along with leanback keyboard, but that's nothing dev can controll without root. Had to sideload to shield TV. You should add to Android TV play store. It'll add a knew avenue of users. I've been reading up & can help you with this.

it was hard to find the one that works on my lg-v500 tablet (4.4.2) + external usb-keyboard (Genius i202) for switching between eng/russian via shift+ctrl. Thank you for this app! really helps.

Development has stopped. Waste of time downloading. Why not just take it off the store instead of wasting people's time.

a scroll wheel setting would be nice as netflix and hulu require a usb mouse to navigate on android box
