**** Notes ****

** Install Size **
Please note that this app requires a large amount of storage space (~100mb) on your device so that photos and maps can be made available to you while offline. It can be installed on your SD card.

** Using Offline Maps **
To use the maps offline, load at least one map while you're still online (so Google can verify we have a proper license). After that, all maps can be displayed with or without a data connection!

Note: our offline maps are hiking-oriented, and focus on each waterfall. Some background layers (such as regional road maps) may still require a data connection to display, but we provide offline maps covering the area from the trailhead to the waterfall and surrounding area. Detailed driving directions are also included, which will put you within the offline map area.

** Beta Software **
This is still *beta* software. Bugs should be expected - please report them so we can take care of them before general release :)

The app shows you a list of waterfalls and when you click on the map it shows the trails near them in a very short range. My only issue that made the app useless when I needed it was that it couldn't use the feature to find a trial near me. It would never do anything when attempting to choose any option for my location, just acted like the button wasn't being tapped. Which when trying to see what was close to me, without having to go through every single waterfall, meant I had no idea what was close to me mid-hike. Thank god for national geographic paper maps

Be sure to open the map BEFORE you leave for the trip. You need signal or wifi since each trail map is downloaded from opening them individually. The trails will not show until it's been opened and fully installed.

It does not search properly my location is on but it does not register me. And it won't accept an address too. Very disappointed

Ads display over maps, waterfalls can be found on the website via google, but not via the app search engine. So far it has been useless and frustrating.

Keeps crashing and then stops. Vendor would not fix it. Uninstalled

App is done well, but there is nothing here that you can't get on the Web for free. Save your $3, unless you need the offline map feature.

Looks great! And a very reasonable price very useful for finding nice walks in WNC area! Only thing that could improve it is more routes

The creators of this app have done a great job of assembling a large collection of beautiful waterfalls. The app has good descriptions of how to get to the waterfalls. The search feature seems to work very good as well. The offline maps feature doesn't work very well. I switched over to view the pictures I had taken on the hike and the map disappeared. It would be really nice if the maps included scale and if they noted where trails actually began. Add those, fix offline and it would be a 5 star app.

I have been a tester for the app and can say not only have I found waterfalls that I never knew about, but the maps, photos, and information on the app make a hike to one of our beautiful waterfalls a breeze. I highly recommend this app for locals as well as visitors to Western North Carolina.

Only thing I would like to see on this app is directions on how to get to the parking area.
