Lock Screen Message for Android
Not working with HTC lock screen
It does what it says
This app is very useful.
Excellent solution. Works well. Thanks.
not function
DOES NOT WORK
Brilliant, easy and effective. Yay.
I rarely review apps because of the stupid linking with my google+ profile, but I feel this one deserves it. It does exactly what you expect, only better.
Nice
DOES NOT WORK
Didn't work for me on a LG G3. When the screen is locked, I see a notification from the Lock Screen Message app, but it only shows as "Unlock screen to see sensitive", which defeats the purpose.
Doesn't work on HTC one x +
Hell ... Doesn't work on HTC one sv
The lockscreen message gets overwritten whenever an alarm or notification occurs.
DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.Samsung galaxy S2 .
Works fine, as long as you don't use a PIN lock. In which case the message is nowhere to be found. Too bad because it works beautifully on the basic, slider screen. It's unbelievable how hard it is to find an app to do this very basic thing.
No need to pay for ICE apps when I can use this.
Uninstalled
Don't download and the creators are idiots
? Changes
Supet
A few text formatting options would be nice, ie; text allignments, fonts, font sizes and font colours to match various lock screens. One "problem" the message shrinks the pattern unlock on my nexus one. But I find it easier to unlock with the smaller buttons
Shuts it self down a lot. I look at my lock screen and message has disappeared.. Have to go in and restart it. Too bad.. Important app but not trustworthy.. Samsung G3
Now with new persistent option this app is great. Perfect for us avg refugees. Please add multiline messages. Edit: am now using TouchWiz, which this doesn't seem to work with, although there is built in message functionality.
See manual item 3. Use if alarm intermittently iver writes lockscreen message. This is ok?
Shame, I can't give this more than 1 star - it either works or it doesn't (5 stars was the other option) Sadly, for me this works for a couple of days then disappears, must be an OS clash somewhere.
This app allows you to display a message on your android lock screen, like your contact information. So, if your phone gets lost, this provides a way for people to get in touch with you. Awesome.
Sadly the lock screen message arbitrarily decides not to display & have to reset (more often than not)! Not much use if it doesn't work when it is needed (fell from ladder knocked out, brother needed my wife's number, which should have shown on Lock Screen, one of the times it Needed To Work!)!! Will keep an eye on it, but had to uninstall, just using built-in Settings-Lock Screen-Personal Message!!!
Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S2
Does not work on Galaxy Note.
Tried it and it worked great. I'm on andoid 2.3.4 and the alarm normally just has a clock next to it not a message so I have no confics. Now I notice that the charge level is no longer showing it just shows a plug symbal, I can live with that.
Does not work properly with phones more than Android v2.1......!
It works, but not very well. It should be more aggressive. Other apps (mainly alarm apps) add their own message to the lock screen. So if your alarm app displays the next alarm time, expect to see that message showing at least half the time, and probably more. If you see the next alarm time, hit the power button twice, slowly, and this app should have replaced the alarm app's message with its own. (This is assuming you have the "Set the message forcibly..." option enabled. If you don't, you shouldn't EVER expect to see the message from this app.) Unfortunately, if someone finds your phone, they're not going to do this, so there's less than a 50% chance that they'll see your "If you have found this phone..." message, at least the first time they turn the screen on.
Does exactly what it says.

Straight to the point app, and nothing confusing about it. My kind of app.
Does nothing on Infuse 4g.
Awesome app!
Doesn't work.

Does what it promises. Would be nice if the cut off width was clearer when editing. Or multiline.
