Track AOKP builds in the easiest possible way: immediately receive push notifications when a build is complete and ready to download! Also get the available test builds & random fun messages from the team.
AOKPush uses the Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) service provided by Google since Jelly Bean. GCM is integrated into the Android framework, eg. the application does not use any extra battery nor wakes up the device periodically to fetch data.
There are 4 feeds you can subscribe to:
- Milestone feed: official milestone releases by AOKP
- Nightly feed: official (automatic) nightly releases by AOKP
- Test feed: unofficial test releases by AOKP developers
- Fun feed: messages from the Unicorn barn
Messages can be sent automatically by the AOKP build server (milestone / nightly feeds) and manually by individual developers (test / fun feeds).
The device sends data to the AOKPush server on each boot, after application upgrades, and when changing feed subscriptions. Sent data is less than 200 bytes. Received data is usually less than 1 KByte but cannot be more than 4 KBytes.
The server stores only 4 entries about your device:
- registration ID
- device type
- subscribed feeds
- app version
The registration ID is a unique ID generated by the GCM framework which identifies your device and allows the server to send you messages. No personal data is stored.
You will receive the notifications even if you do not currently run AOKP. You can install it on currently not AOKP-supported devices, you will get a message once we release a build for that phone/tablet.
You won't receive the messages that have been sent before you installed the app. Everything happens real-time.
Zips can be downloaded directly in the application by clicking on one of the mirrors. In case the download fails, long press the mirror and the zip URL will be copied to your clipboard. Try it in your browser!

Very clean looking, maybe crazy idea but I'd love see option to integrate into Rom after purchasing, also would be cool to have a swipe to delete like gmail.

I love AOKP. It's always my go to rom for everything. However it would be nice if I didn't get notifications for things that already happened once every couple of weeks. PS I still love this app.

It does not show any history, and it always miss the notification. Every time you reinstall, it only show the thankyou and milestone msg. Even when you check the connect in help section and it is okay, it won't get notification afterward. Sent email or left message on xda and dev won't care at all

I am not sure what l paid for . I have used Aokp for my s3 and it is a very good Rom . This app does not inform as promised which phones have Aokp releases . If you have Note 3 ( ATT) it will not do you any good a I have been waiting for over a month now. Tell me how long it take to release this.

I have not received any update messages at all over the past two weeks even though I have all notifications enabled. Also the app regularly crashes and will only work again once it has been reinstalled. Very disappointed. However I think the AOKP rom is the best out there for Xperia devices. So I will consider this a donation to the ROM developers.

Works great. Suggestions mentioned here were adressed quickly. I am only subscribed to the monthly channel. For as long as I have used the app, though, I have only gotten messages that do not relate to monthly releases, but rather concern app updates or changes to the website. If I wanted to know that stuff I would have subscribed to the fun feed.

Like I'm sure many or most of you, I purchased this app because it was an easy way to say "thanks" for developing. Thanks! Pros: Support AOKP Gives notifications Cons: Notifications are constantly repeated. Seems to always through a several month old notification at me when I boat.

I have been using the AOKP ROM for quite some time, I really appreciate how smooth and efficient the system is. I bought this app not because I need it, but because I want to support developers. You guys are doing God's work, you are the only reason I kept my Galaxy Note 3. It feels like a completely new device and one that I love. Keep up the good work!

I love AOKP, this app makes it even easier to stay up to date! Lost a star for the repetitive milestone two messages even though I'm a few versions in front of it.....lost a star because there's never seems to be any new messages, it's like the AOKP team forgot completely about this app
