Wake on LAN works OK once you've put in the target's MAC address. To get shutdown to work is complicated. You need ssh installed on the pc, then you need its IP address (which is best being fixed), then you must open port 22 on your router and the target pc. If & when you finally get it working you'll find that it just shuts down the pc, losing any unsaved stuff. This app would be much more useful if it hibernated or suspended the pc rather than shutting it down. It needs much more work before I'll give it 5 stars.
