I've been using this app for several years now. It just gets better and better. Works great with my Nikon D7100 and D810. Not often I say this, but I'm glad Zoltan finally is charging fee for it. Worth every penny. The firmware update to the TP-Link MR3040 made the connection very fast and much more stable. I run the app on my BlackBerry Dtek60 and Samsung Tab. On occasion I use the browser to connect, which is handy as well.

This is an amazing app. A must have tool for every photographer/cinematographer. Previously, few months ago, live view wasn't supporting my Nikon d3400. I mailed Zolton requesting the fix. He said, Nikon's firmware doesn't support that. Now, few months later I can see him fixed this issue. I am very happy, allows to control entire DSLR functionalities via my tablet. Thanks Zolton, for the app. Keep up the good work.

Much more functionality than the Nikon WMU but not happy with the Wi-Fi speed. When using live view the video feed is real choppy. Other than that I love it. I'm able to change camera settings from my tablet and monitor other settings as well. Don't shoot much video so I can't say anything to the quality of video shooting.

So far I'm very unhappy with qDslrDashboard. When connected to my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and linked with my Nikon D-600, I see the buttons on the top of the screen; but do not see any buttons on the side even though I've tried changing the screen scaling factor. Documentation is terrible and I'm not happy that there was no trial and that I can not get a refund.

Can't find the record button for video. I have a Canon 7d and 5dmark2, 5dmark3 tried using all still no luck. This app is junk!!! Wasted $8 on junk app. If you are reading this please help me figure this issue out. Thanks

Update: Works with my old Xperia Z tablet so rating should reflect that. Nikon d7200 is not recognized. Tried several OTG cables, Blackberry Priv, HTC M9, etc. Nothing works. Wasted $8+ on this. Instructions are very complicated and the UI is not intuitive however most of these apps' interface are not very pleasing. Helicon remote works with the HTC but not the BlackBerry however the full version license is $48. Seeing how I can't really compare the two, I might have to cough up the 48 beans for Helicon because I know it works. Save your money and buy Helicon...you'll need it.

It functions very close to the PC version for my Nikon D7200. Far more functional than the basic Nikon remote control app (which is good for what it is because of the fast viewing of images). This seems to be a bit slow at showing the RAW images after receiving via WiFi. But it is certainly worth it if you need more options than the Nikon basic app. Great for taking those night sky shots where maximum tripod stability is needed and you don't want to touch the camera. Thank you for your efforts making this app and the PC version.

Set up a tplink mr3040. Connected to a Nikon d810. App is running on a Samsung s7. The s7 had a little trouble connecting to the network at first but once connected the app runs fine. We also run this on my daughter's s6 with her d810. Lots of controls to learn now! Don't let the negative reviews with the d810 deter you. More likely user error than the app and tplink.

Great app for controlling camera remotely for timelapse captures. Had an earlier problem with app crashing when trying connect using USB. Couldn't find an answer by google searching so used the forum on the developer's web page and had a reply right away. Make sure "use android native usb access" is checked in the settings. Connection is not reliable with WU-1a Nikon Wireless adapter but I think this is the fault of WU-1a adapter and not the app itself.

Works fantastic with my nikon d90 and samsung galaxy s8. I had used the free version a long time ago with the d90 and an acer tablet and htc one m7 which both worked well. Top app

Doesn't work with nikon d7000 and Samsung tablet. Won't connect over usb, and what makes it worse is that this app costs money to even try out. There is little to no documentation on how to trouble shoot the issues with connecting d7000 on company website. Save your money and try another app.

This app is awesome, you can control everything. Bracket.. timed expose.. time lapse.. it's everything the Nikon wmu app should have been. Oh and you can download full raw files from camera to phone not the shrinked Nikon wmu files.

I'm using this with a TP-Link MR3040, Open WRT installed on it with a LG V10 connecting to my Nikon 610 and it works great. All the controls are there and no issues thus far. Before I sold my Nikon 7100, it also worked on it. For those who haven't had it work on their camera model, please note on product's FAQ whether it works for your model and if it is limited in functionality. Also make sure you are using the good OTG cables.

This app works for the D3400! WITH LIVE VIEW for both VIDEO and photo. Originally purchased for the time lapse opportunities, but was surprised to find live view use for videos.

Works fine with D7000 and D90. You have to follow his instructions slowly and carefully. Zoltan continues to work on it as new cameras come out. Very responsive to help requests.

Just installed, and first impressions are positive. I breifly tried live view which worked ok and downloaded a block of pictures at native resolution from my Nikon D3200 using the Wi-Fi module on the D3200 . Both these operations are problematic using the native Nikon app. I will explore the app features further and may well up review to 5* after using it for a while. Also more stable than the Nikon app which tends to drop the Wi-Fi connection several times during a session. Not a cheap app but for anyone using the Nikon wi-Fi module it's a must have, and well worth the money. Well done Zoltan for seeing a gap in the market and filling it. I am using a Samsung galaxy tab s2 9.7 running Android 6. I haven't tried it on a phone, but I imagine it would be fiddly with the smaller screen
