Night Screen

No ads, noo big space consumption it is better than my default moto g4 lowest darkness level. As we turn on day light mode this app auto gets turned off with no background process remain. I recommend eye care mode n overlay sys mode only.

It's basic, and to the point, which is exactly what I was looking for. Many of the other apps on the Playstore, come with a variety of options that I myself just don't need. It's simple, easy to use, very effective, and hasn't failed me yet! Overall, I definitely think I would recommend it to anyone looking to take some of the strain off their eyes at night, from the overwhelming brightness of your screen(s). My only suggestion, would be to find a way, to somehow also dim down the navigation buttons (back arrow, and menu.. ). Oftentimes, it's actually those that are the brightest. Just a thought!

First of all, if your installed copy started crashing constantly after the 1/15/2017 update, try re-installing it - that solved the problem for me. In general, the app is great. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles as some, but is much more stable than many other screen dimmers I've tried.

They just released an update and everything works flawlessly again. This is the best screen shield app and I've tried all of them. Thanks so much for the update guys. I just wish there was a way to make the screen a bit darker.

Lightweight & does exactly what it says. I've used both normal mode and no-permissions mode, and I'm happy with both. However, the Eyes Care mode doesn't dim the screen as much - I wouldn't use it in a completely dark setting.

after the latest update i can use all modes except the eye care mode.. every time i choose that mode the app crash and keep force closing by its own... but aside from that everything is alright ^^

This app makes your screen darker. Perfect for people who squint when they use their phone in bed at night. Simplest user interface and I've tried a few of these apps. Highly recommend.

This is a very useful app without any annoying ads. I like how they improved it with additional features -- especially the Blue Filter Mode.

After last update screen flashes every time I switch app or open one. Edit: fixed and better then before. Love it.

NOT SO SMOOTH... Great new features but UI animations of the app are no longer that smooth after the update.

Everything works as advertised, but getting to dim the screen brightness along with a blue light filter would be extremely helpful. The current configuration only allows one of them to work at a time. How about custom overlay colors?

Yes!!! This is the only app I've found that has system overlay and helps dim those stupid on screen menu buttons... The only thing that's been bothering me about my new LG phone. Thanks devs!!!

The filter keeps turning off for a moment whenever I switch apps. It's like a strobe light and my eyes scream with sadness :(

Best screen filter that i've ever try, it's easy to switch on and off(coz the app make a toggle on my quick settings) also it help me to see my phone screen at night, thanks dev

Perfect. Especially useful because my phone doesn't have a necessarily low brightness setting, this really tones down the brightness and I love it.

Quick toggles never works reliably. Toggles on off rarely after multiple toggles even in latest version. From Nougat OnePlus 3

Thanks for developing. Such a nice app I was not Abel to reduce my. Phone brightness below the limit but this app made it now I can reduce it behind the limit...

doesnt work on lock screen and notification panel

Works great on my Pixel XL and Nexus 9 but it would be nice to have a timer option to dim the screen after a set time.

Great options. Eg can dim nav bar and status bar. But wish it could control full range of brightness from darkest to the device's full brightness.

Can you guys make it stay in notifications even if the app is off i.e tab wont slide away

Last 2 updates has improved performance and brought great features, love the new blue light filter.

Work as all other similar apps do, not really dimming the backlight. No ads etc. though

Its quite good. Improve the app for the rooted device. Also make the app to work in predefined condition , Like in morning ,day or night.

There's a bug. When I use this app and install an apk. The install button does not get clicked.

Does as what it claimed to be. It would be great if it could detect my location and turn on night mode after sunset.

Eye care mode has no settings so can only be left at the yellow filter.

Now blue light filter has added and this is perfect!
