I was hoping this app had the full range of uniform illustrations held by the De Agostini group and used by author Chris McNab in his books - which would have allowed me to ditch the books in favor of portability - but no such luck. Some truly fascinating uniform studies are missing in this app such as those of the French 2 REP at Kolwezi, mercenaries in Africa, British forces in the Falkland and Iraq.... Etc. In an 80s edition of a book, Mr McNab had also included drawings of the webbing equipment used by the troops profiled - the inclusion of which in this app would have been great for a historian like myself. The app navigation is a little clumsy. And some of the entries have mismatched information. For example, the art of a British SAS trooper in Oman has accompanying text describing a soldier in Korea and vice versa. I'm sure I'll uncover additional mistakes as I go through the app in detail. Very sloppy.
