Catalog of gemstones are not complete, but it contains a lot of gemological data such as specific gravity. Would be nice to include identification such as spectrography data (absorption) along with the gems Refractive Index.

Great reference app for collectors, but for some reason I can't search for anything and am forced to scroll through the list of minerals. Anyone else have this problem? Otherwise excellent.

The app requires a sizable databse download that takes longer than 15 minutes and by the time its done you can no longer refund it. If you touch the screen while its dloading you have to start over. once it is properly installed however it is a very good app

Excellent mineral data entirely consistent with other mineral reference books. The search problem someone is having is because it does not accept search with a capital letter. This should be fixed. Also the phone's back button exits the app so you have to use the onscreen app. This should be fixed. Otherwise excellent. Crystal structure with miller indices for cleavage would be nice.
