Japanese English dictionary

I was a fan of this app and used it alot in the past. But since I restored the system of my phone the writing dictionary can't be downloaded. I would really love to give a 5 ***** if I could download it.

It's really usefull you can wrote down kanji and learn what is the meaning of it. However, it's only kanji no hiragana so I can't read all sentences.

Need to know stroke order of kanji and write fairly neatly. I study Chinese as well and the pleco app most use for that has the best character recognition I've ever used; how can they be nothing even close to pleco for Japanese learners. This app is still the best I've found so far, still waiting for something better.

Whilst the interface and usability is better than most dictionaries out there (the handwriting recognition is a great little addition!), it falls short for me in that the design is old (Android 2.3 style) and there is no readily apparent way to remove the adds. A modern holo-esque design would be an improvement, as well as the option to remove adds with payment.

I cant read any of it. It would be better if there's some romaji there. Else is good :)

For a free app, it is pretty useful. So far it's the only one I've downloaded.

It has a lot of definitions but the kanji recongnization is very strict and has trouble picking things up without proper stroke order

It is very useful for E to J and also J to E.
