Checkey: info on local apps

This is my current favorite app for checking & uploading apps to VirusTotal. However, since the built in browser for viewing VT scan results doesn't let me log in to VT, comment, or vote on the probable safety of any app, it is just as frustrating as VT's own app, which has broken link issues. Please add a setting allowing me to specify that all links open in my system-wide custom-specified default browser app, and I won't delay in changing my rating & review to 5-star & nothing-but-grateful! Still, thanks!

I believe it stopped working because the website doesn't take uppercase hashes anymore. Maybe the website will fix itself the way it was and this wont be an issue but I am jotting it down here for now

VirusTotal support fixed...this app jist went from 3 to 5 stars! Half of this apps usefulness is its VirusTotal feature and it has stopped working. When I tap on VirusTotal, it says unable to load webpage. Please fix.

I don't want to give a bad review as I've used before and it was great but on my S6 running MM it force Closes straight away. I wander is a dodgy app crashing it on purpose to avoid detection. e.g. GCHQ, NSA, LOL

Allow the creepy little girl to peruse your rooted droid in order to perish doubt in regard to sketchy apps.

the only problem that I'm having is I can't access settings. did anyone else run into this issue?

Now a forced (malfunctioning) captcha is preventing me from using the app.

Doesn't allow you to check downloaded apk, only installed ones.

checkey does the job but the one should use tools like this BEFORE installation of any apk and not after otherwise it's just a toy.

I'm sure this is great, but I've got zero idea about what I'm doing, and there no "how to" or guide obviously available on the app or connected development website at github. It's nice that this privacy app doesn't request odd permissions, though.

Especially for people like me that have pretty much Google proofed their android and only use apk stores like Aptoide and Blackmart.

Can't view the complete details, for even in landscape mode. And for some apk's, it shows the info as 'John Doe', (i.e.,) unknown.

This is Nicoles husband James,THIS is a great app,I found a Trojan installed inside Google Play Newstand apk with this app(Yes sadly on June 10th 2015) and reported it to Google,they sent an update out shortly afterward but im begining to suspect they only did the update to remove it for the newer versions of Android that are automatically encrypted. If true it will be a sad day for Google. But bravo to Guardian Project on this wonderful app. Suggestion to include more files of the apks in the system? Would be great if everything was in there.

Text overruns the display area with no ability to pan left-right to read the full info. What good is the app if the full addresses, serial numbers and info cannot be read? App seems to do an adequate job of finding all the data, just falls one critical step short of being usefull. Such a simple coding error guys.... fix it and five stars is yours. P.S. my OS=KITKAT running on an LG L90
