About Web Page Reader

Web Page Reader is an easy-to-use voice browser.
The browser reads the web page by Text-to-Speech(TTS) voice.
The current reading position is highlighted, so you can easily follow text.

This app is useful if you
- feel difficulty in reading web pages as cell-phone display is small.
- study foreign language by hearing foreign voice.
- let the app read online novels by voice.
- access the internet while walking.

There is also Paid version.

* Ads are not displayed.
* The screen orientation can be vertical or horizontal.
* The app keeps reading after another app becomes active or the monitor turns off.
* The web page can be saved as a text file, so you can read it offline.
* The screen orientation can be vertical or horizontal.
* Do not speak the user specified letters such as vertical bars(|) and brackets([]).
* Split text into sentences. This makes the speech fluent if text contains many links like Wikipedia text.

Great app, I would give it 5 stars if it would work with Maxthon browser. When you share a Maxthon page to be read for you, you get back 404 error from the website's server. Might be adding something to the link and then It can't be found.

Very good and easy to use it's a female robot it's better than Chrome it is kind of cheap looking but it gets the job done developers should update in the future well then keep up the good work and add more options other than that good job

It stopped after a few lines...and I didnt find any option to set the point where to start reading aloud...

R70%
by R####:

Could be better if there was a line to show exactly where it is reading for large paragraphs. But I still like it

I still can't believe this app still only had 50k downloads! Very useful love to Google my interests while driving and let it play :) thx!

Potential app. But many improvements needed from design to concept. Future of browsers. If I had billions of dollars I'd have definitely invested them for the further development of this app.

It's one of the best readers I've ever used, thanks so much. Will definitely be paying for it shortly

T70%

I would give u 5 stars if there would be control of reading speed. There are other issues too, like reading St. John as " street john", rather than saint john and all abbreviations. Better s to spell the letters, rather than pronounce the abbreviations. Otherwise, EXCELLENT!!!

I use to love this program until they removed the bookmark option. Unfortunate I upgraded to this new version. Now I am stuck with this this. Almost useless program!

I don't have time to sit and read a newspaper so this app is a lot easier than talk back it messes up sometimes but it's a lot easier to use then talk back on my phone my six-year-old uses this app to when she wants to find an answer to a question like what are clouds made out of things like that

This app is so good I had to rate it. It does exactly what it says and reads websites. I might even purchase the paid version, it is so good.

Y70%
by Y####:

App works good if we load the page by pasting the URL. If possible, add a plugin to web browsers where directly the voice starts reading from whichever page I would like.

P70%

Can u do a $$$Paid or Ads version with screenOFF reading (save battery) and speed upto 20 or ability to use phonetts to read faster? I like reading long stuff very fast without looking at phone doing other things

It's very good except when I click on a link, Android doesn't show it in the Open With options. So I have to copy link from one browser and paste into app to get it to read. One workaround has been to set home page to search, and then browse inside the app.

D70%

Thank you for giving this app for free, we can even adjust the speed! GREAT WORK. Reduced stress on eyes, saved lot of time and energy. Highly productive !! And I love the boxing while reading. Please try to provide an option to read files too
